Stayed one night. Very nice place! Calming and quiet. Beautiful surroundings garden and stream. Very interesting flour mill still working. House was country style with creacking floors and small stairs if staying on second floor. We had a lovely stay, wish we could stay longer.

Well off the beaten track, this delightful B&B located within easy driving distance of Chartres, is an ideal stopping off point for a relaxing few days. The rooms are all unique and tastefully restored. The old mill is still in working condition and Isabelle the owner will take great pleasure in operating it for you. Breakfast is copious and tasty...

A wonderful stay! Fantastic garden with sweet hens and goats, beautiful surroundings with the water, the trees and the roads. A marvellous house with really stonewalls and exclusive feeling. Two really delicious breakfasts, with warm bread and croissants, delicate cheeses, and so on...! A lovely owner that showed us the mill, and recommended us to go and see the magical...

Le Mouilin de Lonceux D19 Lonceux, France We found this beautiful B&B on Sawdays and thought it deserves a larger audience. It is just 20 minutes from downtown Chartres, but is a quiet location in the country. The structure is a working stone mill that uses the stream to grind their own wheat for bread. The rooms are very well...

We just came back yesterday from a 15 day self-drive trip in France, and finished off our trip with a last night at this lovely property. Our 'Folle Farine' room was simply delightful with a cosy firm bed, modern spacious bathroom, and not to mention the old wooden beams and the rough stone walls that quietly oozed character from the...

This was our second stay with Isobelle at the lovely Moulin de Lonceux. Conveniently located, not far from the motorway, it offered a haven of comfort and rest. The rooms are individually and beautifully appointed, and breakfast was outstanding--with homemade jams and breads (flour from her own mill), freshly squeezed orange juice and unlimited coffee. Isobelle even provided us with...

A weeding close to Lonceux was a unique opportunity for our family to share the charm and calm of this place. Exquisite decoration of the rooms tastefully stressing old beams, stones and cob. Unforgettable breakfeast... You will taste home made bread made using home made flour while Isabelle will tell you the story of the place, especially the water mill....

My wife and I stayed here recently for one night on our way back to Cherbourg from Nice. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and damp (in June!) but the peaceful setting in the country provided a perfect place for a restful break from the autoroute. The rooms are beautiful and it's nice to say hello to the ducks, geese, swans...

This was an ideal place to stop on our way from the Auvergne to Paris. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated, breakfast was awesome, with homemade jams and bread (made with their own flour, as this is a water mill) among other treats... Isabelle, the owner, is very welcoming and even went out of her way to print...

The Moulin was the perfect place to stay for an ultimate surprise 9th wedding anniversary package I arranged for my husband. Before even booking rooms, I emailed the owner, Isabelle, and she went out of her way to help me make plans that rivaled 007 secrecy: She picked us up at the Auneau train station (55mn from Paris Austerlitz); two...
