The hosts are a lovely couple, very warm and welcoming. Both speak english and are very personable. The room we had was CLEAN large and the bed very comfortable. The location is right by the Todt Battery which is a a WW11 attraction and well worth the visit.

If you are traveling to/from northern France via Calais, La Samoria is a convenient stop-over situated a few miles off the A16 and just 30 minutes or so from the ferry terminal / Eurotunnel station. The accommodation is basic, but adequate for a one-night stop-over. However, a number of problems during our stay mean that we will not be staying...

Very convenient for a one-night stop enroute to the Channel Tunnel. Good walks for the dog, too. Management and staff were very friendly and helpful and very quick to sort out any problems. Rooms were a little characterless, but perfectly adequate. Food in the bistro restaurant was reasonably priced and hearty.

Booked this for an overnight stay and it was exactly what we needed! The rooms are functional and clean. The restaurant unfortunately was closed (presumably because it was so quiet) but we were directed to a local brassiere which was 5 minutes away and very good. After a good nights sleep we had a continental breakfast! We weren't offered an...

It looks like a blockhaus, feel like a blockhaus and appears to be manned by a Kapo. Despite a loosening of the rule subsequent to my outrage, the first impression remained. . Fed up about reviewing for Trip advisor

everything you need for an overnight stay, dog friendly room which suited our little one all very good. Warm welcome and English spoken. Had standard room on ground floor Room #1. Was a little noisy when restaurant shut but nothing significant. Lovely seaside towns of Wissant near by with restaurants and nice prom for a stroll.

Had a pleasant overnight stay. Bedroom and bathroom good standard. Staff helpful. We had a view of the sea in the distance and such was the clear visibility that you good see the white cliffs of Dover that day. Only minor point to criticise was the small window. Poor design.

A well positioned purpose built hotel overlooking the WW2 Musee. The bedrooms are comfortable with adequate facilities. The Brasserie could be made so much better as it has so much potential. All in all a reasonable place for a last night stopover before heading back over the channel.

A one night stay on our way home but what a lovely welcome, helpful owner speaking great English and some good restaurants nearby. Part of the information centre for the area and very close to a wartime museum. Rooms are clean and modern, thick walls keep it cool and the bar/restaurant is ok for a drink or a simple meal......lots...

Not an area we would normally visit, just looking for a good hotel before Calais. Good new hotel, clean tidy, massive bed and tidy bathroom. Restaurant basic but good food and view from terrace down to cliffs lighthouse and onto England was breathtaking. Good value at €80 / night and pets welcome
