We chose to be on the East coast which is totally different from the South and West. Both those are very busy, highly commercialised and overdeveloped. It's quiet and cheaper in the East. Much windier though and the sea rougher. Great for surfers and there are nearby sheltered coves for bathing from beautiful quiet beaches. If you have a car...

Been coming here for 20 years. The location is superb, with spectacular, unrivalled views. And that is why you come! The service is often haphazard, sometimes disinterested, and the food consistently average, never bad. The fruit punch is a delight. But somehow , as you look out, all this seems relatively unimportant.

My wife and I booked the suite (room 4) for one night whilst touring the east coast of Barbados. We were very impressed with the rustic charm of the spacious and airy suite; which is situated on the top flier of the inn. It was very roomy indeed and had spacious two balconies - each with a spectacular view of...

Sunday must have a bad day for the Roundhouse, if it wasn't for them - it was for us. The restaurant was recommended to us as have beautiful views over the east coast atlantic ocean with food to match the view. The former is true, the latter is not and we have to disagree with the general praise of other...

We were in Barbados for a one-week stay at the Santosha. Our dinners were split between The Round House and The Atlantis. Both have excellent restaurants but The Round House goes the extra yard to make one fell truly welcome. Food selections at The Round House are Bajan and American cuisine. Preparation is solid and consistent and the presentation is...

My husband & I was staying at a guest-house nearby and took a exciting walk across The Parlor, High Rock and Soup Bowl to have a well-deserved lunch at The Round House. We had a table inside by the window where the view was second-to-none! Our appetizer was full of rum and very tasty but our main dish was a...

Lunch at the Roundhouse during a surfing competition was one of the highlights of our trip. The cliff side is breathtaking, and the ambiance delightful. The town of Bathsheba is perched on a slope, which adds to the drama. Highly recommend this gem on the north east coast. Try the coconut shrimp! Yummy!

We were doing a tour of the island and decided to stop here for a late lunch. It turned out to be a very good decision. This restaurant has a great setting over looking the beach at Bathsheba, which is very popular with surfers. The service was very good, it was busy when we arrived with a large group leaving...

Great spot for a snack, glass of wine and the view. Try and get a seat outside. The food isn't spectacular. It's all about soaking it in and being thankful you are here. I am a repeat visitor to Barbados and it's worth renting a moke to come out here, year after year. Bathsheba isn't great for swimming or even...
