Our daughter held her wedding at Sturmer Hall last weekend, and had the wedding she had always dreamed of. The staff worked very hard to ensure everything went smoothly and like clock work. myself and my husband would like to extend our sincere thanks, to everybody involved making this a truely special day, which we know our daughter and her...

We went to an event at Sturmer Hall recently (Elvis tribute act) and had a fabulous weekend. We were a bit unsure as to what to expect as we had read mixed reviews about the owner being miserable. He was a really nice person, easy to talk to and made our stay at Sturmer Hall most pleasant. We shall be...

Sturmer Hall is a great place, set in Suffolk countryside. Huge log fire and friendly owner & staff. Food is wholesome and plentiful and the bedrooms are excellent - certainly the ones in the main house at least - really big and well furnished. A real sense of luxury at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. My only reservation was...

We recently visited Sturmer Hall for our friends Golden Wedding Lunch. The venue, setting and food were all perfect. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, polite and friendly, with a special mention to Tina and 'Gary Barlow look alike' !. We would definately recommend Sturmer Hall.. Can't comment on the owner as didn't see him, perhaps...

On arrival we were shown to our rooms which were spacious clean and very comfortable. We had two doubles with en suite and a tastefully decorated/furnished living room. There was also tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits supplied. The staff went out of their way to meet the needs of each person, from ironing board to menu variation. The dinner...

I travelled here recently to see my favourite singer Russell Watson .A treat for my Birthday . After paying nearly £100 .I had to pay a further £10 to park my car on a muddy field . A lot of the audience were elderly and there was still a good walk back across the field with heels on .As well...

This venue was amazing. Their motto is 'Seeing is believing' and when we walked in on the day, we saw why. The time and effort put in by each & every member of staff could not be faulted! My daughter's wedding organiser was Tina who could not have done any more for the happy couple, nothing was ever a problem....

The hotel is situated about 1/4 mile from the road but isn't well signposted so difficult to find especially in the dark - turn into the unmade road next to the garden centre sign and drive past the church. Also car parking is behind the main building but not clearly signed. Bedrooms are large and well furnished and it was...

From the time we pullled up till the time we left, the staff couldn't have been more attentive. We stayed in one of the cottages which was spotless and everything you might need, loads of drawer space, my only niggle, was a shower curtain, not a screen, We went to see Georgie Fame, and stayed overnight. The surroundings and food...

This is a really nice hotel (it has a but). The bar area and lounge where very welcoming with a roaring fire. Just the thing on a rainy October evening. Parts of the hotel are 1000 years old and the oak panels give it a charming feel. I only ate there one night but the food was excellent so no...
