We wanted a simple weekend walking and cycling in comfortable but not ostentatious hotel - and that's what we got. Surprisingly good food - very nice cottage suit - could do with a TV and cosy fire - although fire in sitting room not working which was a shame.

While staying on the other side of loch Tay we visited this hotel for an afternoon pit stop. What a beautiful place! Luke showed us round after we'd had our drinks and its in a lovely setting and the rooms are stunning! We would certainly consider staying here at some point in the future! Beautiful area with lots of walks...

We tacked a couple of days onto a visit to Dundee to stay at this hotel and were so glad we did. We were greeted by Luke, who gave us a great tour of the hotel and its facilities. Luke, Anita and Russell looked after us throughout. Anita even came to say goodbye on her day off. Nothing was too...

The hotel and view is just picturesque. The ambiance was relaxing and comfortable - it was so lovely enjoying the lounge room with a pre-dinner drink. The staff were so friendly and ready to assist and presented a very well run business. Dinners and breakfasts were yummy and the rooms clean and bright and quiet. Would definitely go back.

Stayed one night dinner, bed and breakfast with my husband and aunt. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff team of 5 were excellent and so friendly, We enjoyed chatting to Luke in the evening. This hotel has plenty of character and that is what is so charming about it. The new owners are closing at the end of the month...

After a couple of misfires trying book a place to stay for a mini honeymoon, we booked the Ardeonaig Hotel last minute because we've both had a great time around Loch Tay in the past. We were expecting something nice enough, but we're both so surprised when we arrived; the place is gorgeous! The main building is old but well...

Whilst out driving up one side of Loch Tay and down the other, stopped in for a comfort break is this very unassuming hostelry. Well, was I taken aback??? Understated luxury, tasteful, classy, do you get my drift?!. A separate breakfast and dinner room, how nice! Library overlooking the lake. Bothy's done in South African style with bathrooms to die...

Firstly, the approach to this hotel is a challenging 7-mile single track road which is a little unnerving to start with. This is a lovely hotel in need of some decoration but full of cozy charm. We especially loved the wood burning stove. The grounds are beautiful with stunning views from the jetty around Loch Tay. Rooms were quite small...

It might be sentimental but I really wish the new owners every success because this charming spot of rural Perthshire is so beautiful and, despite the difficulties and logistical nightmares, this hotel must survive.so that I and others can return time and again as we surely will. Nothing remarkable when compared with many other quality, small, country hotels but a...
