A lovely house with a friendly welcome - polished wood everywhere, a stylish big bathroom, and the comfiest bed I have slept in in many a long year! Splendid views across to the Mull of Kintyre too. I took up Diane the welcoming host's offer of fresh milk with great pleasure as those little cartons of horrible UHT milk are...

An extremely comfortable and welcoming b and b - lovely hostess, delicious breakfast and beautiful room with views across to Kintyre - made a perfect base to explore this beautiful island or just sit and watch the seabirds from the garden

Very good B&B. We had a wonderful room with a nice few on the sea. Cozy furniture. A really good breakfast (very tasty)! The room was perfectly clean. We were the only guests (for the house has not many rooms) - it was really calm! Pleasent stay!

Our usual B&B was full and unable to accommodate us for the one-night stay we needed before transferring to self-catering elsewhere on the island, but the owner recommended Clisham to us. Well, thank goodness she did. This lovely B&B provided us with a delightful stay. The double en suite room was comfortable, clean and classy and Diane the owner gave...

As readers may conclude from my nomme de plume, I'm a Pirnmill fan and have been visiting since 1967 when my family had a holiday cottage in the village. Sadly, we had to part company with it in the 80's, but Arran has a unique magnetism for me that draws me back to it as often as I can manage....

Clisham is a well - run , very clean , interesting guest house with friendly owners and excellent breakfasts . It is a lovely old house built in early 20th c. and with fine views over the sea . I thoroughly recommend this excellent and hospitable place as somewhere on Arran to stay in very contentedly .

Diane was a delight to revisit, it was like visiting a relative that you haven't seen in a long time. We try to revisit all B&B's that we have been extremely pleased with if back in the area. This visit was just as we had experienced on our first visit, if you are visiting this area you should give Clisham...
