Went for a quick drink after work on a Monday night a few weeks ago, The food on the 2 for £12 winter warmer menu was sensational. The pub has always had an excellent atmosphere and great beer. A really great night out. Thoroughly recommended.

There must have been a problem in the kitchen because we have always enjoyed a good meal. There was a mention about the sous chef not being there. Everything tasted precooked and heated up. One or two meals were sent back. We just wanted to enjoy being together and not create too much of a fuss after a wonderful birthday...

Were in this remote area to collect a new pony for our daughter and thankfully found my dream inn!! To cut a very long story short this establishment is excellently run. Head chef, Cath, has a remarkable talent and the range of meals on the menu was very impressive with lots of difficult choices, hence the reason I wish we...

Called late on Sunday on our way back from Leeds. Nothing was to much trouble. The chef is very talented and produced a wonderful meal. My Caerphilly Chicken on a bed of mash potatoes and leeks with an amazing cheese sauce and accompanying vegetables was first class. My wife's meal was similarly very good. Complimenting the excellent food is an...

+ Sound proof windows (important when next to busy road). Clean rooms and friendly staff. Can recommend. - The room was a small. We couldn't pay by debit card but this was because of an error in the connection; problematic because there's no ATM in Llanymynech.
