This happens when a dream comes true! For the owners of the place and for their thankful guests! Mihaelas fresh and traditional cuisine is daily most appreciated, Tibis professional pieces of information about the surroundings are followed by everybody. Meeting your neighbours during a day trip is no exception! Family reunion, so to say! In the evening then the „tiring„...

Casa cu Zorele was an amazing experience. From the first welcome to the last good-bye wave, we found Mihaela and TB to be kind, charming, wonderful hosts. Mihaelas' cooking was delectable (even according to our 15 year old) and TB's wealth of knowledge kept us entertained and informed. The property is historic, with all of the modern comforts; impeccably clean,...

The long weekend spent in the heart of an 18th century farm. Lovely people, ready to spoil their guests with the most delicious traditional meals, good local wines, starched white linen, warm atmosphere, beautiful scenery, fortified medieval churches - as if returning in a previous mythical life.

We spent 4 days over Christmas at Casa cu Zorele and it was a really good choice. The hosts were amazing, the house is beautiful and the surroundings so peaceful and rural that we could hardly bear to leave. Home made food with different dishes every day and fresh ingredients (whatever owners don't grow in their own garden buy from...

Our grand daughter scheduled the whole trip and picked this as one of the stops for our trip, everybody in our group has been giving her praises from all 5 other people in our group for a wonderful job. Clean, comfortable, friendly and the dinner they served was the best meal of the trip we are still talking about it...

We have been visiting the region around Sighisoara for truffle hunting in October for some years. It was the first time for us however in Crit, at Casa cu Zorele. The place and its owners (Mihaela and Tibi Ghita) have been a very pleasant surprise to us. Very nice and educated people that managed to refurbish beautifully the two Saxon...

The little town is very old, but so beatiful. The houses are too and all the owners, here included are making big efforts to preserve the old "charm" inside this village. I understand that "Casa cu Zorele" is a house from the 1800s and it is still in a good shape. The interior is very traditional and very beautiful, with...

We´ve stayed here 3 nights (family with 2 boys 11/13 yrs). A fine location to stay close to cities (Sighisoara, Brasov) but situated in rural landscape. Good home-style cooking, lovely cat, very good beds, decent garden, helpful owners. We really enjoyed our somehow simple but atmospheric bathroom. Also a good starting point to visit the fortified churches of Transylvania with...

It was like traveling back in time without loosing the comfort of modern life. The owners are great hosts, the food was great. The owners recommended things to do for us and they seem willing to cater for your needs. There offer half board with rather strict hours for breakfast and dinner. They have mountain bikes to offer (adult only)....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of Medieval Transylvania, few miles to Viscri, Saschiz, Sighisoara, we restored an old Saxon house. In order to keep the intimacy of the house we have only four rooms for guests (each one has a bathroom). The meals, cooked mainly with organic vegetables from our garden, wild fruits, and local farm products are accompanied with great Transylvanian wines. Activities: local tours, visit Saxon heritage by carriage, hiking, bicycle or by car, watch animals or birds, become friend with the bees and much more. ... more   less
