Hotel Garden have just hosted our group for 4 days. The hotel was spotless and the welcome very warm. Betty and her team could not have done anything more for all of us. On day 2 we had a 'simple' meal prepared for us at the hotel. Simple it was not-simply delicious! Location also fantastic as it is 5 minutes walk from a train station with direct links to Venice. We will be going back soon!
Wow - don’t think you could ask for a better or more accommodating host. Betty looked after me, my husband, my 3 sons AND my SEN rugby team for 3 days and we couldn’t have been happier. Fantastic room for a family, wonderful breakfast, superb evening meal and a really lovely barman - Mohammed, who was brilliant. The hotel was clean, friendly and so helpful - allowing us to check in early, even collecting all our passports from us at the local rugby club to hasten the process and providing gluten free food options for some of our players. She even gave my son a helium balloon to wear around his wrist on his trip to Venice for his birthday. We cannot thank Betty and her staff enough for looking after us so well and are already planning our return trip! See you soon!
Such a beautiful little city and so friendly people. Such a wonderful lady at the reception. Clean, spacy and peaceful. Close to Venice. Everything was nice. I would come back with pleasure. Recommendation! :)
The Hotel is very old and outdated, if you looking for glamour this is not the one for you. The rooms are old fashioned and small, they have sheets for blankets. The aircon does not work so for air one needs to open the window. The toilet is really close to the shower so basically everything is wet and steamed up after the shower. The room was not dirty but with the decor and look of the room it just makes one feel dirty.............. on a brighter note the bar tender is really nice and made our stay alittle more bearable.
1. Far from Venice 2. Outdated decor makes you feel dirty constantly 3. Toilet in a shower which means you have wet toilet paper and feet when going after a shower 4. Food - our first meal in Italy was french fries and a roteserie chicken and breakfast was croissants in packets and coffee that tasted like mud and looked like it 5. Beds feel like you are sleeping on the ground and pillows are about 1inch thick 6. Air conditioning turns off at 8am daily (this was the same in multiple rooms as we checked with others staying here) 7. Wifi is hard to login to and takes multiple frustrating attempts as everyone is issued their own password which is unnecessary I would highly recommend against this hotel, it is not a 3 star it is more like a 1 to 2 star.
