The service we received from Beth and her team was excellent we felt at home immediately and they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was large and comfortable with a lounge area to relax, before venturing out to either The Greys pub for a delicious meal for dinner or to the other lovely areas around Embleton. The breakfasts are...

After a tough few weeks I packed my car up, collected my daughter from school, and drove six hours up the A1 to Embleton. The welcome was wonderful and the warmth felt when I walked in Jubilee House was the hug I needed. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfy. The best nights sleep I've had in...

This is a really lovely B&B with the potential to become an excellent one. Just a few tweaks to get there. Beautiful old house with good views and what must be a stunning garden to sit in during summer. Great rooms with very comfortable beds and bathrooms (but the tiniest ever bin) and very flexible about arrival times. Fresh milk...

Our journey was delayed by three hours but Jane called with arrangements to pick up a late key and made sure our 00.30 arrival was smooth. The rooms were very smart, the beds comfortable, and the en-suite bathrooms super clean. It's a quiet village so you can expect a good sleep. And breakfast was outstanding. It really set me up...

What a find! Literally! We were struggling to locate the guest house and lo! The owner was looking for us on the street. A great welcome, she had reserved a table at the lovely pub next door for our fabulous evening meal. The rooms were very well appointed with comfy beds and chairs. We played cards in the dining room...

We really enjoy our stay. Our b&b had to cancel us due to a flood so we got Jubilee House by chance-& glad we did! The house is really nicely oldy wordly & we loved the lights & stained glass window. Irene & Jane were very welcoming. Embleton's lovely too. Would definitely stay again.

The room was fabulous and immaculate in every way, we had no problem with any locks, our greeting was very special and our little dog was welcomed with open arms. The setting was stunning and Jennifer, jane ,Irene and all...
