This is my 4th stay in Drôme province now, and each time I free up a schedule time slot to pay a visit to this lovely owner run hotel in pittoresque Nyons. The food served in the lovely restaurant terrace is fresh, made of regional components and simply delicious. Service of the staff is caring, but discrete. My recommendation from...

This review refers to the restaurant which forms part of this mid-nineteenth century hotel which is still going strong in the main square of Nyons. The interior restaurant appears to have retained something of the grandeur of the past but the beautifully shaded terrace restaurant in front of the hotel is certainly not living int he past! It is of...

There are lots of reasons to visit Nyons, and perhaps also to spend the night there, especially if you're anticipating the enormous Saturday morning market that spreads over the town. If so, think of the grand old Hotel Colombet, there on central square since 1736 (!). It shows its age, but it's been carefully maintained and renovated over the centuries,...

A beautiful step back into the past. The original hotel dates from the 1700's, although it has obviously had numerous face-lifts over the years. The rooms & bathrooms are of the 50's-60's style, simple yet clean and comfortable. The staff is very attentive & friendly. A fair price for a private hotel, and they have private parking. Absolutely no complaints

I've been using Hotel Colombet for a number of years for my groups and it is consistently a favourite hotel of my clients and myself. The rooms are very comfortable, traditionally decorated and all different. The hotel restaurant has a lovely feel and copes well with the demands of our groups of hungry cyclists, who can be quite fussy! The...

Well situated with a shaded terrace on the town square. The welcome was very friendly and the lunch superb. Advice on the food and wine was sought and willingly given. One of the best meals I've had in France in recent years. Highly recommended.

Perfectly placed in the heart of Nyons, voted one of the prettiest towns in France, we wished we had longer in this great region. Lovely check-in service (we did not have a reservation) by a young man (tres sympa). WIFI worked great and the charming front rooms looking over the plane trees are perfectly authentic with their wrought iron balconies...

Had tried to book at the nearby Autre Maison based on good reviews elsewhere but they were so rude on the phone didnt even get as far as asking about availability. Decided to chance our luck and score a room on arrival in Nyons - v risky we managed to get the penultimate room left in the whole town (we...

The rooms we were offered were very large and looked out over the square. We had been told to turn off the air conditioner by 11:30 and that the room would then stay cool, this was not the case. The windows had to be opened in the middle of the night noise or otherwise. Actually noise was not a big...

We spent a night at this hotel on our way north. Hotel Colombet had been recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Great position, lovely big room and quiet despite overlooking the road. Nyons is a sweet little town and there are lots of lovely walks nearby. Breakfast was adequate. Had dinner at a great restaurant called La Farigoule- excellent...
