Very special place to visit, peace and tranquility. Stunning scenery and nature in abundance. Excellent hosts, made us really welcome and felt relaxed immediately. Accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will certainly return again for longer stay.

Shane and Tanya were lovely, the house is great, and the free kayak hire is a nice evening option if you're feeling energetic. The hosts were more than happy to go out of their way to ensure my stay was stress free and enjoyable

This property looks fantastic and it's obvious that Tanya and Shayne have put a lot of effort into ensuring the shared facilities and adventure equipment are first rate. However.... What a lovely place to stay. Tanya and shayne are very welcoming hosts, even on last notice bookings like ours. They helped us make all our plans, helped us reroute after Kaikoura roads damaged in earthquake, and then helped us replan our day after I fell sick and could not go on our preplanned kayak and hike. We spend 5 nights in the bay view apartment. The apartment had a great feel (well appointed , clean, comfy beds and nice sheets). Everything about Anakiwa 401 is fabulous. The hosts Shayne and Tanya are incredibly helpful and have given attention to small details that truly enhance the experience.
