We stayed at Rockville Inn for one night in September. The Inn is a lakefront property and is in a truly beautiful setting. Carol is a great host who makes you feel welcome immediately. She was able to suggest how to make the most of our short stay on Manitoulin Island. We were looking for somewhere to eat and Carol recommended and made a reservation for us at The Schoolhouse which was an excellent choice. When we returned later in the evening we were met with a wonderful sight of the moon rising over the lake which made for a lovely ending to a most enjoyable day. The only hitch we had was that our (rather old) GPS didn't recognize the address of the Inn, but fortunately we'd picked up a Manitoulin tourist map and a brochure which gave instructions on how to get there, so it really wasn't a problem.

Carol is a friendly and gracious host with helpful advice on sights to see and activities in the local area. She is well connected in the local community. The property is beautiful and well cared for, with much pride of ownership. The room with ensuite was pleasant and clean, and the breakfast was awesome. Many thanks for a short but special stay on Manitoulin.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in July and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is central in terms of visiting much of the island and very close to the cup/saucer hiking trail - which is a fun 2 hour hike with some great views at the top. Our room although small was very comfortable and had a nice view of the lake . The lake is really nice with a dock to sit on and to swim off. Breakfasts are excellent and Carol will give you lots of tips on places to see on the island.

we took our bikes for a three day holiday and stayed at Rockville Inn B & B we booked a room and had a small private washroom. Carol was warm and welcoming. we left our cooler on the deck so that it was close to the chairs on the dock for wine and beer. The gardens were beautiful even on a rainy day. After a day of site seeing and cycling we returned to a restful spot on the dock or relaxing on the large front porch. Breakfasts were large and delicious. We relaxed in the common room in front of the fire that Carol had prepared because it was damp out. Our room and shower were small but adequate as we were out most of every day. and when we returned we looked forward to the old fashioned front porch. we recommended it to family travelling later this month. Should we return to Manitoulin, we would definitely return here.

Truly enjoyed my stay at the Rockville Inn. Carol made me feel at home immediately, and her prize winning raisin bread is the best! The property and gardens are very well kept. Definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing get away!
