Truly enjoyed my stay at the Rockville Inn. Carol made me feel at home immediately, and her prize winning raisin bread is the best! The property and gardens are very well kept. Definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing get away!

We rented the private unit which was a perfect place to relax in the middle of a long road trip. We cooked amazing meals, loved the backyard patio, gazebo, and lake access. Stormy weather prevented us from canoeing, but we were outside in the gazebo or covered porch as much as possible. The unit is a duplex - bedroom upstairs... More

It was also a great place to go running in the morning and to enjoy a swim in the beautiful lake at the end of the garden. For us, staying... More

Delightful place to stay. Carol, our hostess, is all one could ever ask for. Knowledgeable about the island and its culture and she prepares a wonderful breakfast. The place is very clean and the rooms, small and comfortable.

Owner Carol Sheppard will keep you very comfortable with her lovely home on Lake Manitou. Peaceful and beautiful. Colourful perennial gardens leading down to the clearest water I can remember. Spent 3 great nights there with the help of a full moon. Home made breakfast different every day. Left a hat in the room that the owner will mail back... More

“Irene room offers view of the lake but the bathroom is tight and small. Navajo room's bathroom is larger. The other 2 rooms upstairs have a tub in the room with a curtain partition to separate the 'bathroom' to the rest of the room. There is one room on the main floor also overlooking the lake. The Birdsnest is completely separate from the rest of the rooms and you have your own private entry and everything else from the other guests.”
