This is a hidden gem on Manitoulin Island! We spent 5 nights in a one-bedroom cottage while exploring the island by bike. We loved the peaceful location, right on Lake Mindemoya with a beautiful deck in front of our cottage from which we could watch the sunsets and bbq our dinners. The cottage is very clean and has everything you need - full kitchen, table and chairs, separate bedroom and bathroom. The new owners and very helpful and took care of a few minor things like lightbulbs very quickly. The price is very reasonable too. We paid a bit extra to rent linens and towels since we weren't able to bring our own.

They were clean and by the water. They were very simple and old fashion but that was fine. We went with a group that wanted to be together and it worked well. The owner is not overly welcoming and friendly but managed well. I would go again

Spent four nights at Island Springs Cottages during a recent cycling trip to Manitoulin and we were not disappointed . We had a three bedroom unit with a well stocked full kitchen.Enjoyed views of Lake Mindemoya as we bbq`ed and ate dinner from the outdoor deck . Cottage was clean , tidy and well appointed . WiFi signal was strong and reliable! Also , great for campfires at night . If you are planning a trip to the Mindemoya area and need a place to stay , Island Spring Cottages should be on your list for consideration.

We have been going to this property for 20 years, as a family. We have grown to love it so much that it is the highlight of our family's year. Lois Perry is a warm and gracious host who goes out of her way to welcome you and make sure your vacation is flawless. Our kids are now 24 and 22. They still want to join us every year on vacation. They love it here and has become a much-treasured family tradition. It is a peaceful, beautiful area with a shallow sandy beach area. Extra-safe swimming for little ones. Beautiful sunsets. The cottages are clean and well-maintained. It is strategically located on Manitoulin, close to a Mindemoya with a excellent grocery store and Wilson's (!) hardware Since it is located roughly in the centre of Manitoulin Island, you can readily visit all regions of the Island during your stay. Island Springs Manitoulin is peaceful and beautiful. A great family cottage resort!…

A lovely clean, clear & calm lake with fantastic sunsets. Evidently it is popular for fisherman as there are boats provided, motor, canoe, kayak & peddle. Over 600 feet of frontage. There are 3 good size cottages but also 2 bedrooms in the main house and all look out over the lake. Plenty of parking. The rooms in the main house have a shared bath and a continental breakfast is served to those guests. Bring your own soap, shampoo and a glass for water, bring your own ice. Careful the tub is very slippery and there is no rubber bath mat. Towels & facecloths are provided. Comfortable mattress & pillows. Electric fireplace & t.v. in room. At night it is so quiet you will think you have gone deaf. Restaurants nearby in town, a few minutes drive, I suggest Mum's and for their baked goods too. Locals line up before 11 am for them. Say a warm hello to Muff the dog, she is a true trooper as is her mom, Lois. About 30 - 40 minute drive from the ferry docks. Unfortunately Trip Advisor won't let me add photos but I have several.…
