My Girlfriend and I went to Manitoulin Island in August, We drove all day and it was Dark and all the Hotels were filled. Tired and exhausted another motel Owner called around and found a room here. The Owner was great and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The next day He upgraded us to a cottage style room for no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this Motel it isn't fancy just clean and well maintained. My personal joy came from using the open fire-pit in the back at night.

I my self have never stayed in a motel before and it was the best experience I had and great prices. The owner was there when we needed help with something and when our heat went out tried to get it going again but gave us a portable heater to use in case it had gone out again in us. The rooms were clean all around inside and cozy. The grounds maintained as well. Always made sure we had coffee and fresh towels. I definitely RECOMMEND Mindemoya Motel πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

We stayed for one night at this motel. It's simple but nice. We were with three and Nick offered to show us either the (spacious) family room as well as the seperate upstairs apartment. We chose the apartment. We were surprised of the space for a reasonable price. It was spacious and comfortable because we could use the 2 seperate bedrooms and a pullout in the living. The apartment was pretty clean, beds were good and wifi worked well. What we liked most was that nick was very friendly, helpful and wanted to make sure we had a good stay. He even gave us a discount for the ferry. We would stay here again!

I miscalculated my travel plans on that day, and needed a room at the height of the season, later at night. Nick held a room for me and helped me with directions. Despite that fact that I got lost twice (my fault), he waited up for me and got me there. Room was fine for what I needed - clean, large, nice and quiet for the night. In the morning he gave me a discount code to use for the ferry. Nothing fancy, but I'd stay there again.

Showed up at 3 for check-in. They were still cleaning the rooms. The place is in bad shape and needs some much needed repairs. We turned around and walked away, eating the cost of our reservation. We looked in one room and the carpet alone turned us off. If you can find another motel.
