The campground and location is very nice. It was quiet, and there looked to be a fair bit for kids to do. It's really the cabin that was poor. There was simply nothing cozy or comfortable about it. It had all the kitchen appliances and tools needed - the usual assortment you would find from garage sales etc. The sofa (that pulls out into a bed) had absolutely no support anymore either sitting or lying. The chair in the room wasn't much better. The beds were ok, but had an underlying odor as did the chest of drawers in the room. The water may have been potable but it had a horrible taste and left a film / scum when used for tea or coffee so we ended up buying water. Bring ALL your supplies. In all the times we have travelled and rented places this was the first place that did not provide scrubbers to clean pots, dish cloths or dish towels. There was a little container to provide the first day or two of dish soap, but it was empty. The "modern 3 piece bath" they claim on their website for 2 bedroom cottages is a joke. The cheapest, bottom of the line utilities are used - screws in the wall to serve as hooks. On the 4th night we went to use the bbq and the propane tank was empty. We rented cottage #6 which is advertised as pet friendly. What is not noted is there is an extra charge if you do bring a pet.

We just spent a fantastic few days at Mindemoya Court in a camper van on a great little campsite. It is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and has terrific, helpful, friendly owners/staff. Great little campground with personal service. Highly recommend. We'll be back.

We just spent 3 nights here. Really nice spot, well maintained, clean, friendly. Good location. The swimming area is fun, with diving board, floating dock, we and our dog had a blast. Nice sunset from our camping site (trailer). We also enjoyed the nature trail. Make sure to check out the stars by the water on a clear night; breathtaking.

We camped here for four nights, and highly recommend it to others. The camp sites are well maintained, with on-site water and power, but offer minimal privacy. We encountered one problem, which was caused by noisy people renting a private cottage on the property behind the camp ground. They partied with loud music beyond midnight. As this was not part of Mindemoya Court, the night manager had few options available for us, but found a solution by allowing us to move our tent to the opposite side of their property, as far away from the noise as possible. He gave us a hand with the move. Excellent customer service, going the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed here for a week. Cottages were clean and equipped with whatever you need. Ours had a big new deck. The screen room was great to sit in also. The cottages are small without a lot of room to put your stuff but we had great weather so just kept some stuff in the screen room. They seem to maintain and keep putting money back into their investment which is great. We had a very small water heater so we couldn't have two showers one after the other but I am sure they will replace it since my parents had a big water heater. The waterfront is rocky and deep but our kids are good swimmers so it wasnt a problem. The swim out to floating deck was great. They have some nights together like a baseball game and bbq.

This was our second stay at Mindemoya Court - we stayed 1 week in a cottage. Excellent spot above Lake MIndemoya - sunshine and a slight breeze ensure the bugs stay away from the area. The cottages are extremely well maintained with all the amenities you want for a relaxing stay on Manitoulin. The grounds are very well groomed and the 2 natural trails are excellent. There was a large puddle on the short trail but with all the rain on Manitoulin this spring - that is to be expected everywhere. New gravel on the road coming in was great. Easy access to Mindemoya and also all Manitoulin attractions. We will definitely be back.

So pleased with this experience, from my first call to Kim through to check out. E - 13, an efficiency cottage, is the perfect resting spot with a 50's rustic feel and all the modern conveniences including hot water, shower, microwave, half fridge, three-burner stove. The cottage was absolutely immaculate and perfectly maintained from top to bottom. Very cozy and comfortable. The setting is glorious with sunset views on Mindemoya Lake. Beautiful little wooded nature trail on the property as well as open spaces for barbecues, lawn sports and tree swings. Highly recommended for early in the season (June) if you want peace and quiet. I imagine it gets quite busy here through the summer because it is such a delightful place to stay.

We just returned to Chattanooga, TN after 10 wonderful nights at this CG. Kim, Mike and of course Dad and staff keep property in tip top shape. The bathrooms are cleaned 3 times a day. The sites are large and easy to back in to. We rented a boat and went fishing and I was rewarded with 3 small mouth bass, My first time catching a bass. This a special place as is Manitoulin Island. A lot of things to do and see with MINDEMOYA being our base camp. thanks again Kim and Mike

We spent a night in our tent here and it was wonderful. The woman working at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Easy access to the water, unfortunately we did not have time to swim but the water was very clean and there was a roped off swimming area with a diving board. All sites are easy to access and if I ever went back would not hesitate to bring my camper as there is lots of room and hook ups. Rates were very fare for what you got. The park was great there was horseshoes, volleyball, swingset and more and they supplied all the stuff for the games as well. Would have loved to stay longer but we ran out of time on our trip. not to mention the wifi available all around the campground was great.
