Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff are very helpful, room is clean and spacious. Five minutes walk to train station for Colombo and close to airport. Organised tuktuk for us and food was good, I love sitting in the balcony especially early in the morning.
Very convenient being close to airport. Clean modern room. Owner absent so staff had limited English but very helpful.
Good value with meals available. Would recommend if travelling from nearby airport 1000 rupees fare from there.

We paid something like 400/500 rupees (maybe 5USD?) for the airport transfer via tuk tuk which was arranged by the hotel. If you want a more comfortable transfer it will probably be double that - but it's not... More

We paid something like 400/500 rupees (maybe 5USD?) for the airport transfer via tuk tuk which was arranged by the hotel. If you want a more comfortable transfer it will probably be double that - but it's not far, maybe 15 minutes in total and just a few km. I didn't see anything at the hotel alluding to exchange rates, there are kiosks at the airport though. We actually used the ATM machines at the airport to get our cash - there was a limit to how much money you can take out at once but was quite a convenient and easy way to get cash.
