Visited this restaurant recently for dinner. The menu is a 4 course set menu costing €60 plus tea/coffee. Staff are extremely friendly and the food is very high quality. The restaurant closes for 3 weeks in January. It also has bedrooms and is a member of the Blue Book

A warm welcome made us feel at home from the moment we arrived at this beautiful country house. Quality food, presented with style and passion, make this dining experience one to remember. The Mustard Seed is well worth a visit. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did last night.

We spent a night at the Mustard Seed to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Our welcome was lovely: tea and home made Madeira cake. A proper country house hotel- creaking floors, turf fires, a pianist playing, high ceilings, a madly eclectic selection of prints and pictures. The bedroom was gorgeous and very comfortable. Dinner was a highlight, great food and...

Staying at the Mustard Seed was the treat of my life. This is a fun old country home with plenty of character to it. The accommodations are lovely; the grounds are gorgeous; the food is spectacular; but what makes the place wonderful is the staff. By the time we left there, we felt as if we were part of their...

Wonderful country retreat within easy reach of Adare Village. Also close enough to Limerick city for day trip. Stayed here with a group of lady friends for two weekend nights. We were so well looked after, our every dining and accommodation need was met by friendly helpful staff. Rooms are old country style and the attention to detail is amazing....

Old style country restaurant in a beautiful setting. Warm welcome on arrival, drinks served by the fire, very relaxing. Then we were brought to our table, every course was amazing. The food was top quality and presentation was beautiful. All the staff were nice n friendly. Looking forward to returning.

Our room and bath were clean, quiet and comfortable. The house is chock a block with interesting furnishings and souvenirs of years of history. We peaked into the music and game room after dinner and a...

Beautiful Old Style Country House in a beautiful setting. The dinner menu is very different and the food was certainly amazing. The thing I most liked about the Mustard Seed were the staff and especially the manager who could not have been more helpful.

My family and I were really looking forward to visiting The Mustard Seed given our previous fantastic experiences in this restaurant. However, we have to say, we were hugely disappointed with the experience - particularly given the hefty prices charged. We were brought into the lovely living room to sit by the fire to have a pre dinner drink. This...
