We called in here to park up for the night whilst doing our own version of the NC500 in our motorhome. The inn itself is in the most amazing location right beside the sea/loch with a large decking area overlooking the water and a conservatory type dining room also overlooking the water. The place is very small and so it...

We have previously enjoyed our visits here. Our last one being 2 years previous when holidaying in Scotland. (Yes, quite a while before) It is a beautiful setting especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside. The conservatory is the next best option for cooler days with views over the sea loch. The actual pub inside is quite...

We called in here again (our 5th year staying in Gairloch) for lunch. Just as beautiful as ever. Thoroughly enjoyed our black pudding on mash. It is such a lovely interesting drive out to the Inn, and such a perfect setting to while away some time, eating delicious food and taking in the wonderful view. Will always want to come...

So there we were...walking back to our rented cottage from beautiful Red Point beach on Christmas Eve with our three young children when the local postman stopped in his van. He said we would all be welcome at the Badachro Inn that night to see Father Christmas call in and, if we telephoned ahead, he would bring presents for the...

My wife and myself went for a snack lunch last Saturday, having heard great reports of the food on offer. It was very quiet when we arrived and all the tables had a reserved sign, but the girl in charge told us we could sit wherever we liked if we were going to eat. The menu on the table was...

After being shown to our table we were told we were sitting at a table reserved for residents but could stay anyway. The table was dirty and we had to ask for a cloth to clean it. A staff member then made a noisy fuss of cleaning the other tables. Food was average and followed after 40 minutes. Nice location...

It would be hard to beat the location: right on the water's edge overlooking a cove with yachts at anchor. A seal was playing with a buoy. We had fish and chips the first night (good) and oven cooked salmon the second night (really good with imaginative veg dish and potatoes. Breakfast was really good with choices. We were given...

We like this place as the food is great, as is the location overlooking the water. The staff are friendly and its a bustling place. We ate in the restaurant conservatory area. Apparently its up for sale, so just hope whoever takes it over doesn't change too much what already appears to be a very successful formula.
