This place especially the west side (which is walkable) is stunning. We arrived on the day to stay at viewpoint and they helped us out straight away. Was decent. I didn't particularly like the food but that's just me. Staff were friendly and owner was very helpful and spoke brilliant English. This place is more for couples than for the...

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend as we already had walked past and it seemed all good, buffet included with your choice of BBQ Next day we both sick, poisoned by their food, sad to read trip advisors reviews talking about their bad standards ... We paid the price, their food put us in a fight for the toilet...

We booked very last minute to tag along with friends who had already made plans. We used Agoda and paid about THB1800 a night including taxes/service. The room was clean, the aircon worked well, we had no creatures in the room and the toilet flushed. This summarises the good things about our stay. We will try to remain objective about...

Although we did Booking site registration, the hotel charged 3 percent for a visa that was not supposed to be charged. The room had an unpleasant smell and roaches. The breakfast is not good. There was a blockage in the shower and smelle of sewage, the room smelled of mold. The hotel charged for the use of the Internet, that is...

Came to railay without a booking and were glad to get a room at viewpoint for "only 1500" since the other vacant rooms on the Island cost the double. The room was ok with TV, fan, hot shower and included breakfast-buffet. The man in the reception that seemed to be some kind of manager should get some angermanagement treatment. He's...

Located along the swimming pool, and decorated with pebbles, the Mountain View rooms have character. However, we stayed at a room at the far, far, far back of the hotel, so far back that we almost couldn't find it. When we arrived, we found the room to be clean, cool, considered and comfortable. Having booked the hotel in person (...

My boyfriend and I arrived to be told that we owed 3000 baht for a "mandatory" Christmas dinner. We had booked well in advance in May and the website stated no such thing. We told him as such and refused to pay. The Hotel Manager was very rude to us however luckily he finally accepted that we would not pay...

Absolutely disgusting room smelling of mold and rotten material, dead insects on the walls, grime in the shower and - best yet - blood stained sheets!! Rude, disgusting staff. Stayed here along with 10 other people in various room types so know this wasn't a fluke - it's the place. Avoid at any cost.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The location is really great, tucked away slightly from the main walkway and bars so it's not too loud but less than a 5 minute walk to everything. Sandy swimming beaches are on the other side of town but it's a nice walk there. Free breakfast included but it's all buffet style and sitting out...

the staff was really rude and difficult to talk to, had to pay extra for wifi, cockroaches in our room, need to ask the front staff to clean room each day and towels each time .. Way overpriced for what they offer.. Pay a bit more and have a relaxing holiday somewhere else . ..
