We recently stayed a couple of nights at Sabai Resort. Overall, the hotel is good value for money. The main concern about this place is its management team, and the way the take care of their guests. The hotel is Italian run, and we felt that the 3 managers were not really friendly unless your are Italian. It seems that...

The hotel was good for the fair price. Bungalow looks nice from the outside, and quite "used" from the inside. The room is small, just as the bathroom. Negative: the bed was awful, fan wasn't properly working. Positive: good food, a quiet place, 2 min away from the sea, staff is friendly and helpful.

Sabai Resort may not be most conveniently located in Ao Nang yet, it is well worth the $2.00 cab ride. The resort is located off the main street thus allowing to hear the night call of frogs and cicadas yet, close enough to the beach not making it a hassle to go for a swim. The several bungalow style rooms...

I cannot comment to this establishment since I never visited it but I can add my personal experience which might be useful to someone. I booked 4 nights at this resort and I emailed them to give me directions by bus. The owner (Maurizio) responded with an unbelievable answer: "I cannot help you since I always use a taxi -...

My girlfriend and I went there for my birthday because it's close by our house (we live in Ao Nang) and because it got some good reviews on T.A. Wow, what a nightmare. We ordered the bruchetta and the most expensive steak on the menu because we were celebrating. The brochette was advertised as containing tomatoes and basil, but when...

We stayed three days at Sabai and had a really relaxing and fun time. We arrived late in the evening after a long, quite exhaustive journey from the North Thailand and were immediately welcomed by a smiling owner. There is a special bohemian atmosphere in this place, you can feel it just from the beginning. Our bungalow, a small one...

We completely agree with the other reviewers. This place is a find. We stayed from May 16-23 and enjoyed having a private bungalow with veranda, swimming in the clean and inviting pool, and dining in the wonderful little cafe. Sabai Resort is well-maintained and Maurizio, one of the owners was on the scene and attentive to our every need. The...

This was our second stay at Sabai - we decided to return for the second time in a year after a great holiday earlier in 2012. Spacious bungalows are set amidst beautifully kept gardens outside the main hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, making for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. Maurizio and his team welcomed us like long lost friends...

Even though it was the low season, we appreciated the fact that Sabai Resort is located away from Ao Nang town. It's relatively easy to get around with plenty of tuk-tuks and the cheaper songthaews passing by on the main road, just a 2-minute stroll from the resort. Nopparathara Beach is just across the main road. The fan bungalow can...
