This was my first hostel experience and I was overall pretty delighted with the experience. It was clean with friendly staff. The main area was filled with welcoming and cozy decor and seating areas, the sunset view from the rooftop was beautiful. The breakfast / coffee was great and a nice touch to be able to have in the morning. There was available laundry in the hostel as well. Bathrooms were very clean. I would absolutely come back to this place. The ladders are a bit awkward to climb into the top bunks, but not terrible. I would recommend a bottom one if available. They turn off the air con during the mid portion of the day, so it is also a bit hot in the uppers. I did notice some small bugs (I think ants) in the dorm room both on the walls and in the bunks. Also good to know is the deposit of 500 Baht that has to be paid in cash on arrival. This is returned to you when you check out. The deposit cannot be paid any other way.…
I stayed at this place as recommended by a friend and also read the great reviews but it seems it has changed. Indeed there is a coffee shop on the first floor, which seems to be the first priority. Breakfast only includes some toast, jam, one boiled egg and a coffee or juice, not both. The hostel does not rent locks for lockers. The reception signs around the hostel and on the key cards say reception is open until 10pm, but apparently they have changed it to 6pm, which is very inconvenient if you need something. Our last day, my friend and I were out all day for a sunrise hike, a daytime excursion and then a sunset kayak. When we realized the reception had already closed we called the owner to receive our deposit back for the keys and he treated us very rudely, like it was out fault. I've never had such an inconvenient or rude experience with staff at any hostel I've stayed. Also the rooftop was closed so we could not enjoy that either. …
I came here with my girl friends. I love the cosy pods!! It gave me the privacy I need. The bathrooms are clean and easily accessible. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. The cafe is also perfect for chilling- and they serve really healthy smoothie bowls. I was spoiled for choice! The place is also accessible to many eateries nearby. Would recommend to solo travellers and girl-friends on girl trips!
Staffs are very friendly. I loved the tiny pods...it was very clean and comfortable to stay! And the location is so perfect...walking distance to everywhere in Ao Nang! What a lovely place to stay. Also, the breakfast was very yummy and healthy, especially the colourful smoothies..loved it!
Pros: Can walk down to the beach in about 5-10 minutes, check-in was easy, big windows in the dormitory, nice hangout space in the cafe available at early and late hours too, drying rack is convenient, clean beds and bathroom Cons: They said the A/C only runs between 3pm-10am, wimpy breakfast (ONE egg, toast, a drink) included in your stay, the bed ladder is slippery and awkward to use due to placement, I almost fell off at least twice. They had no lower beds for us to change to...we asked.
I highly recommend this hostel for solo traveller. The location is very accessible to everything! Staffs are hospitable too, though few only can speak English but it's not a big issue. I arrived here around 7AM and was allowed to check-in at 12PM and checked-out very early (4AM), make sure to inform the staff night before your check-out so they can give back the deposit THB 500 and to brief you where to leave the room key. Make sure to provide your own padlock too.
I stayed at this hostel for 4 days while I was in Krabi. Loved my tiny pod because I get some privacy even though I was sharing the room with 10+ other guests. They have cereal, toast, fruit, and coffee were available for free during breakfast at their top floor which is also lovely place to relax. Everything was really great until the person who was assigned in the front desk got mad at me for checking out very early in the morning. Man, you have guests coming and going the hostel and I don't think it's uncommon for one to check out at 4am because they have an early flight to catch! I even told the lady who was at the reception in the evening that I will be leaving very early and she assured me she will take care of it. Miscommunication between their staff? Maybe. But still not a reason to be furious at your guest.…
Had I known this hostel would be so nice I would’ve stayed longer! Air condition in the afternoon and night, clean room and very female friendly. The breakfast was good and the staff were kind. I highly recommend staying here especially for solo female travelers.
Excellent hostel! In the rooms you have your own private little pod with a curtain across to give more privacy. Rooms are quiet zones but there’s a communal area downstairs in the cafe. All accommodation was really clean and you have a private locker allocated with your bed number to lock away your belongings, just remember to bring a padlock with you! Excellent WiFi!
I stayed in this hostel 2 yrs ago and loved it. Unfortunately it is no longer the same. They have now opened up a coffee shop on the first floor where one of the dormitory rooms used to be which now means there is only one dorm here which is female only. The roof terrace with its beautiful view is no longer open( the main reason I came back here) breakfast consists of toast with butter or jam and one egg and one drink, tea coffee or orange in a tiny glass. Tea and coffee used to be free all day and breakfast used to include fruit and cereal. For those who smoke you will have to sit by the front door with the rubbish bags, as the beautiful roof terrace is not longer open with it's smoking area. It seems to me that coffee shop is now the important part of this establishment. Such a shame. You can find better places to stay for half the price. I won't be coming back for a 3rd time that's for sure!!! …
