I'm just reviewing the restaurant, as I haven't stayed in the hotel. I have seen the restaurant reviewed as a high end 5 star restaurant. However my experience (two times) at the restaurant is that the food was average. I would say that it had good presentation, but certainly not on par with the price. Their greatest lack though is... Stayed here for extended weekend in July 2011 with some friends. The 2 bedroom suite was nice with a small TV, mini fridge and balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The view is fantastic; however, note that there ISN'T A SANDY BEACH HERE. We knew this when we made the reservation and since we didn't want to stay near a... More

There are 3 studios (quoted at $155), 12 one bdrm suites (quoted at $185), 9 two bdrm suites (quoted at $285), and 3 three bdrm suites (quoted at $395) on two levels with a separated restaurant. Hotel is well off the main highway, out on a long point and rooms face the ocean in a northernly direction. These were built... More

We have been staying at Punta Morro for 7 years now and its the only place I stay in Ensenada. We travel to Ensenada annually for Carnival (Mardi Gras) but we want a nice relaxing vacation and this is the place. We book the spa package which includes a one bedroom suite plus two one hour massages. they will do... More

Stayed M-F for the week of our son's wedding at the hotel. We had a second floor [by US terms] studio room, i.e. a standard king-size bedroom with en-suite shower, vanity unit and wc. The furnishings of the room were clean and in reasonable state though the carpet was not in the best condition. Nevertheless, we felt it was good... More

I've stayed at many of the hotels around Ensenada, but have never been so happy with my accommodations. The room and decor were simple but extremely comfortable with great bedding and beautiful natural light. The balcony overlooks the sea and we could hear the waves crashing all night. The highlight was the restaurant which was packed with well-to-do locals who... More

My fiance and I went down to see if we liked the Punta Morro. We were considering it as the location for our destination wedding. We both loved the look and the beauty of the hotel. Everything as a whole was wonderful. Right off the ocean, the view, the weather, everything was perfect for our intimate wedding. After we left,... More

Nice hotel,Clean room, Good Resturant and Bar. Great Escape from the heat as the hotel sits ocean front and is very comfortable even when it is very hot in town. Friendly Staff, short drive to downtown.I would stay again- no problems.

This was our third trip to Ensenada in two years. We travel there because I manage a ship that has work done here. My husband and our two small children accompany me and while I work he plays/takes care of the kids. Usually we stay Estero Beach Hotel because of the beautiful pool and the large rooms, but this time... More

When staying at the Punto Morro Resort in Ensenada, Mexico I got robbed while I was sleeping. It had to have been a worker from the hotel. They are the only people who have access to the room besides the persons staying in the room. We arrived on a Friday because we were attending a family wedding on the Saturday.... More
