The quality of the rooms is very poor. Paint was dingy & peeling, vents were dusty, restroom seat was loose TV remote in-op, could also have used a bit of air freshner. Rooms need a serious upgrade. For the price of the rooms -----not worth the $$$ Pool area on the other hand looked very nice, but unfortunately I did...

I stayed here when I visited Mexico last year for my birthday. I stayed at San Nicolas Hotel with some friends and we had an incredible time. It was not expensive, the pool was very nice and there are 3 jacuzzi's. The rooms are big and comfortable.

The room that I stayed was a king Luxury but there was nothing luxurious about it. It was an OK room but the shower had weak pressure. The sheets smelled like they hadn't been change and the carpet look a bit old. Also they cheated me on the rental. The site I reversed from said it would be 68 per...

Most hotels were booked b/c of the Beer fest so we were left with this option.. At check in our friends entered their room and found people in it who then ran out the sliding glass door. We think they were the young college kids who were partying in the pool. Some event was going on for them. We entered...

San Nicolas Hotel & Casino is conveniently located near the Ensenada museum and within a short walking distance to the main restaurant area. There is a secure, guarded area to park your car across the street. The first floor of the resort contains the casino, swimming pool, Jacuzzis, bar, and restaurant. The two upper floors house the rooms. There is...

Was told I would get a refund if the room key was not lost. Deposited $10.00 for each key, (had 2 rooms --$20.00) and only got $ 10.00 back. :( Make sure you ask for a receipt for what your giving them money for and know the exchange amount. Room was dirty, pubic hairs on the shower door. got woken...

Our check in and check out was fast. My husband and I found this hotel on trip advisor as a last minute resort. We didn't get to jump in there pool. Pretty much just showered and slept there. The mattress was really stiff. Restroom looked clean when we arrived but there was hair in the shower wall from the previous...

Prepay your hotel expense through the third party booking service or prepare to pay a higher rate for your currency exchange; we lost two pesos per dollar. In fact, expect to be nickle and dimed for a 70-s, run down, Hawaii five-o decor property. Hole ridden blankets, twenty dollar deposit for pool towels, dark and musty rooms, no toiletries provided,...

So the window A/C unit was functional but loud enough that we could not hear the TV but NOT loud enough to drown the all night party out by the pool. The shower leaked into rest of the room and the whole stay the carpet by the entrance to the room squished under our feet. It was disgusting. And the...

In general this hotel needs maintenance and doesn't comply with it's rating. Water tap in shower and sink is leaking. Carpet on floors call for wearing your shoes at all times. The pool however is nice and the atmosphere in this area is relaxing and OK. The wifi was very slow.
