At City Express La Paz, experience our beautiful beachfront location and enjoy the proximity that our hotel has to dozens of major businesses. You can get the best of both worlds during your stay. The beaches of La Paz are famous for their beautiful blue waters and white sand. Tecolte and Balandra are two popular beaches, where locals and tourists swim, sun and soak up the natural beauty. If you’re in La Paz in February, don’t miss the Gray Whale Festival. Take a guided excursion to the Ojo de Liebre lagoon, where you can see the giant whales migrate through Baja California Sur. There’s no better place to get up close to the action to see these amazing creatures. For the best that downtown has to offer, visit Velasco Garden in the city’s main square. It’s a hub of activity and a great place to relax, visit nearby cafes and people watch after a long day of meetings. If you have time, stop by the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Paz, a cathedral constructed in the late 19th Cent

We drove up from Cabo for a 1 night stay, had never been to La Paz before. I like the location, right on the malecon, but away from all the bars and restaurants. The room was very small, queen bed. It appeared to be clean... but then I found a pubic hair on the floor. Yuk.

City Express La Paz is located outside the mainstay tourist area, perched instead next to arid hills in the Palmira neighbourhood. It is a noticeable but pleasant walk to the downtown area via the Malecon, or an Uber ride setting you back about 40 pesos. The amenities are

Just like what you would find in Canada. Nice and clean. Served a good breakfast in the morning. Good walk to the Malecon. Great for an overnight stay. Staff at front desk spoke English and easy to deal with. Little beach entrance at side of hotel great to entertain young ones.

How about asking Cortez Club about picking you up from the City Express? I joined their diving tour which was included pick-up already. There seemed to somebody like us in the pick-up car. It seems that they have a pick-up service. Althoug you cannnot walk there because it is a little bit long distance from the hotel to the Cortez Club, you can use taxi if they have no option.

Estuve la noche del sábado santo, solo vi tres franceses que atendían antes que a mi en recepción. La señorita igual de amable con ellos como conmigo. Para mi un buen hotel en todos los aspectos.
