Festival Plaza is a two-and-a-half acre hotel and entertainment complex located in the heart of Rosarito, Baja California. Characterized by offbeat design wide variety of restaurants, nightclubs and retail shops, Festival Plaza has a on-going schedule.
Let’s start with the pros: 1. central location. 2. pretty good view, that’s about it. The cons: 1. no ac- in summer a no-go, in the cooler seasons it could be ok except…see 2. the concert level music plays until 5 am every night so you CANNOT leave window open for air. 3. Run down 4. Rude staff. 5. Run down rooms. 5. Run down outside area (looks like it could have been nice at one time) 6. No free breakfast for kids 7. Cannot check out or leave premises until maid confirms there are no ppl in room. Then you must show a paper to security to allow car to leave. Conclusion: don’t stay here unless you have enough cocaine to stay up till 5 am everyday.

Right in the center of Rosarito، you can walk to the beach, restaurant or a night club, very clean and comfortable, the room has a big and clean bathroom, comfortable beds and a beautiful oceanview, staff was very helpful, and the pool was great,

Starting with long lines at check-in and a complicated procedure and rude staff. There's not enough parking for all of the guests so you may need to park a couple blocks away. The rooms are ugly with no air-con. You can hear the music from the disco club very loudly even even with the windows closed until 2:00AM. Check out is equally complicated. You are forced to wait until they inspect your room before you can leave ('You CANNOT leave!"). Stay away from this dump!!!!!

Old hotel, old facilities, rude recepcionists tell you to check in at 3 pm, not a minute early. You comeback at 330 pm, other ladies working at front desk, with a long line and wait, saying why the previous shift had everybody coming at once. Loud music from the clubs all day and night. THEY WILL CHARGE A $100 DLL DEPOSIT YOU NEVER GET BACK, IF YOU PAY WITH A CARD. I called to see what happnes, they say call your bank, because we dont have anything to do with the payment. Im never coming back to this “hotel”.

This place is very noisy from area places and no air conditioning. You can open the windows to the patio, but hot air come in very uncomfortable. Too many rules. Then they charge you $100.00 in case the room is not left the you you got it. $5.00 a day for parking. 1 paid $135.00 for the night never again.

First, let me say this was for "basic hotel" which is part of Festival Plaza but not in the tower where most of the rooms are. It is a 50 year old small motel next door. They use the same lobby and check in area. It was 4th of July so they were using any available rooms. For $150 I would at lease expect a 2 star room. But no. This room was old, ugly, small, no TV, no AC (in Mexico in July) and the walls were paper thin. You could hear the other rooms talking, flushing the toilet, etc. Maybe for 4 teenagers who just want a place close to the party it would be okay but not for a grown up. We left our bags, explored the beach area (not impressed) and left without spending the night.

Beds are hard, room was hot and small you can hear the music from the clubs around! The hotel is to pricey plus I checked out a day early because of all the inconveniences and ask for a refund and of course they said they couldn’t do that! I will never, ever stay here again. I stayed in room 712 and I give it a 1 star The only good I will say is that el patio restaurant breakfast is good and the area of the hotel is good because of being next to the clubs and beach.

The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the beach, night clubs and locations to eat. If your not in town for partying, stay away, as you will hear music all night. Lastly, you may only have as many people you registered to your room in your room, everyone will get a wristband, which is needed for security to let you pass by .

Don’t let the pretty lobby fool you. What a complete joke. From the super long check in procedure to the horribly stiff mattress to the BLASTING music until 4:00am from the clubs below, this place is a dump. I don’t think anyone there knows what a can of paint looks like. Everything seems so run down. If you want to know what if feels like staying here go sleep in a prison next to a nightclub. They need to tear this place down and rebuild.

The hotel looks like it’s been remodeled and the price wasn’t bad. It’s next to everything however it is extremely noisy!! The last nearby club to shut down was at 5 a.m! We hardly got any sleep!! I don’t know if I would ever stay here again! Also 5$ to park which isn’t that bad. The room needs some decorations on the walls. Also no central air conditioner
