Boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend. Was not expecting such a great place for what we paid. The room was beautiful, luxurious, SO clean, had a vanity area, the bed was ridiculously comfortable-- I can go on forever! We were so happy with El Ticuan we already booked another visit next month!

I have stayed at the Ticuan at least three times before, and will continue to stay there when I come over on work from the US. The hotel is a short 5 minute drive by taxi ($5) once you cross over the border. Upon arrival, I have always been greeted with a smile. Not everyone at the front counter speaks...

Tijuana is a fun place to go and I am a frequent visitor. Whenever I stay overnight in Tijuana, I stay at Hotel Ticuan. The hotel is very clean and nice, the food is quite good and the staff is very friendly. I park in San Ysidro and walk across the border. The hotel is located in Zona Centro and...

Beautiful hotel!! Amazing cafe, staff spoke fluent English and were very polite. Rooms were better than most motels I have stayed at in the past. I was there for a surgery and the nurses took wonderful care of me.

The Hotel itself is fine in terms of rooms, and the restaurant is decent. My biggest concern with this hotel is the fact that when you show up to check-in they take your credit card and Identification to make a photocopy. There is no legitimate reason for doing so, especially in todays world of rampant identity theft. The first time...

This hotel ripped off my credit card and now they are ignoring my emails. I paid cash for my stay but they charged my credit card as well. I have the receipts to prove my cash payment but no one will speak to me regarding this. I stayed there for bariatric surgery and Hospital Jerusalem was WORSE!!! PLEASE BEWARE.

Definitely an oasis in a rather "different" part of the world. Tijuana has it oddities, but the environment in the hotel was clean and safe, and made my friend and I feel at ease. The staff was willing to cater to your every need. I felt like it was one of the best places I ever had the pleasure to...

Tijuana is safer than you might think given the stories we hear north of the border. The hotel is well situated and with easy access from the border crossing. The room was very nice, and far better than anything you'd find to on the U.S. side for the cost. There were quite a few gringos staying there, most for various...

I am a native of Tijuana, but now live abroad. During the Christmas holidays my partner and I stayed here and it was a nice surprise. Traditionally "El Centro" in TJ was considered sketchy and a little dangerous, but in recent years has had a regeneration and is much better. And this hotel was genuinely good. Really clean and well...

I had the good fortune to be referred by my dentist in Tijuana to the Hotel ticuan just 3 blocks from his office in downtown Tijuana. The rooms were clean and well appointed. the restaurant downstairs has excellent food. Staff was very helpful as I do not speak spanish. I will be staying here on my next visit to Tijuana....
