much to expensive but you have any choise it is the only hotel at this beautiful sight His reaction we organize two free walks in the surroundings, but these you easily can do without him when you get out of the station ask for a cheaper location in the last shop on the right

The hotel is located on the rim of Copper Canyon, our room with a balcony had a very beautiful view overlooking the canyon. Wonderful. The hotel has no competition at Divisadero, which is basically nothing more that a railway stop and trades on its position - which is fantastic. The room, food and service was fine.

The HOTEL DIVISADERO BARRANCAS located on the rim of Copper Canyon, in Mexico, is located at a very beautiful view overlooking the canyon. That is where the value ends. There are no other hotels or restaurants located within miles. Once there, you are without options. This is the ingredient for a first class “TOURIST TRAP” and that is what you...

Charming layout, beautiful view, no management, dishonest staff. Was asked to pay cash for wine at dinner, and found out the waiter was overcharging us hoping we wouldn't notice so he could take a cut. Rooms reserved months in advance were not honored.

This was our 5th time to stay at Hotel Divisidero Barrancas, and the second time they did not have the rooms we reserved and confirmed repeatedly - beware of their policies! Spectacular views, OK rooms, below par food and the hotel does not share mandatory tips with staff! There are other alternatives with rim views - research!

We spent 2 nights here as part of a tour in northern Mexico. The setting is breathtaking--perched right on the rim of the Copper Canyon. The hotel is appropriately rustic for the setting. Our room was ample and very clean. The bathroom appeared to have been recently updated. Our only problem was with the heat which was controlled from a...

The Divisadero Barrancas’ primary claim to fame is its location perched at 7500 feet right on the rim of the dramatic Copper Canyon and adjacent to the train station from which you can start or end your canyon rail trip. The hotel is actually a collection of buildings strung out along an unevenly curving rim, necessitating some ramps, walkways and...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights - wish it could have been for longer. The views from our balcony over the canyon were incredible. Be sure to request rooms 44 to 52 which are on the second floor in the newer section overlooking Copper Canyon. The rooms were rustic, which is fitting in this location. The food at...

Had a very comfortable room and pleasant stay. The views from the deck were incredible. The kids loved the talking parrots that the staff puts in the trees each day. It was October and the staff built a fire for us in our room's fireplace. Don't count on timely service in the restaurant, though. It's slow even by relaxed Mexican...

Stayed here December 2004. The bathrooms need renovating - peeling paintwork. Bedroom was clean and very simple - definitely not luxury. Food included in the price is mediocre and the package price is not worth it. We wish we had stayed at the Hotel Mirador which also has canyon views. We did enjoy the walk to the Balancing Rock with...
