While some of the drawbacks are true about the Acapulco Princess, the one thing that is GUARANTEED is amazing weather. I know this because I have been going to the Acapulco Princess for 20 years during Christmastime with my family (met my husband there) and the one thing I always got a kick out of was bragging to other travelers...

We really enjoyed staying at the Faimont princess. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were spacious. We lived in the deluxe occean front room on 10th floor and the view was breathtaking. We were travelling with 3 kids ages 6, 4, and 2 and we all fit in one room with the crib. Ofcourse it was not the easiest thing...

We just returned last night from a week at the Acapulco Fairmont Princess. Before I say anything about the hotel, I must say one of the best things about our trip was our excellent tour guide/driver (we found him through Trip Advisor). His name is Angel Flores. Prior to going to Acapulco you can email him and he will pick...

While the Acapulco Princess was divine, the location is a bit past its prime. The Princess is quite aways south of the metro area, but a fantastic resort. We've been all over Mexico and the cliffs and divers were magnificent, however there are nicer places to go. John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, and Bo Derrick aren't there anymore and its a...

I spent three nights at this hotel during a social convention with 500 others. This is an older resort, but my oceanview room in the main pyramid tower was renovated and extremly nice. The room, bathroom and closet were all huge. Great toiletries and a new mini refrigerator were a nice touch. For several seconds every day, the power would...

I first truly understood the meaning of “Paradise on Earth” when I went to Acapulco, Mexico with my now fiancé. Of course that feeling of being in paradise might have been accentuated by the fact that I became engaged while there but I couldn’t have asked for a better location for the proposal to take place at. After spending almost...

We have just returned from our stay in the Fairmont Acapulco Princess. We had a great time! The hotel has alot of rooms but when we were there it didnt seem crowded, except at breakfast. The pools all had more then enough free chairs and space to swim. Our room was spacious enough, with a bathtub and shower. The a...

Just got back in May spending 7 nights with my husband and three kids. I must say that the grounds are beautiful and the beach is really one of my favorites. I felt the rooms were nice but not spectacular and the food was good but not great. Would definitely go back again.

The Fairmont Acapulco Princess hotel is located 10 minutes from the acapulco airport but 30 minutes outside the acapulco downtown. The hotel itself gives a very impressive first impression with huge golf courses at its entry and huge lobby. The hotel has several swimming pools, one of the swimming pools has a bar built under a waterfall. in short the...
