My first trip in the south. Good deal for 2 weeks but no meals. Close to everything, but not on the beach. You have to walk across the street to go on the beach. Very loud at night if you like to party! Didn't matter to me, love the good time!

Can't find a separate listing for the Neptuno, but we ate breakfast there two days in a row. The food was good in general, but what really stood out is the availability of the cook to make pancakes from scratch and eggs to your liking. The cook was great so we tipped her. The service wasn't so hot, so we... More

Good and healthy food, very safe place, so close to the beach, very good attention, was just perfect when I traveled just with my two sons who were still small. Clean place, I have the best reference as my mother used to work for the Romano Hotels in Mexico City, they were really nice people who care about their units... More

Don't do it.No WiFi at all.No control of the A.C. You have to call on the phone to get a guy to come to your room with the controller each time you wish to adjust the A.C. And of corse he stands there when he has finished his great deed waiting for a tip.On top of it all you are... More

In the "you get what you pay for" category- I was on a vacation, and staying in many costly hotels around Mexico, so I tried to cut corners for a few nights to balance it out, and stayed at the Romano Palace. While the staff is well intentioned, I think even they must realize it is a sub-standard hotel. I... More

It's not party per se, but it's close to quite enjoyable beach clubs. It gives you descounts on them so that gives you the chance to have some serious fun. I would really recommend this hotel for families or groups that have planned other various activities. To be honest I was expecting a falling to pieces hotel, and though one... More

The Romano Palace and Hotel is just off the main street by the beaches in Acapulco, where the Pacific can come roaring. There are several eateries close by including a McDonald's and the hotel is quite family friendly and relatively calm considering the noisy and rowdy gatherings close by especially late evenings. Our floor was right on top so in... More
