Acapulco Trip We thought that after our experience of our first holiday in Acapulco a few words merited a mention. The resort we stayed at was the Grand Mayan, which we all agreed was 5 star. The accommodation and service was excellent and we would certainly recommend anyone to stay there. Construction work is ongoing at the Mayan Palace but...

We just returned from a wonderfully, relaxing trip to the Mayan Palace in Acapulco. The Mayan is magnificent, clean and beautiful. It offers a choice of eateries, from up scale to pool grills, pools, bars, beach & ocean. The staff was very courteous and wanting to help. Our highlight of the trip was the two days we hired Roberto to...

Spent the week between Christmas and New Years at the Mayan Palace Resort in Acapulco Check in took forever Make sure to get a room at the Grand Mayan, much better than the Mayan Palace rooms. We had water problems, no hot water and no water at all for a while...they did not offer anything in lieu of the problems...

We've just spent Xmas week at Mayan Palace Resort in Acapulco. The grounds were spotless, and the beach was endless for walking. The rooms were OK, nothing special. The food at the restaurants was not great, somewhat expensive. The pool was nice, but not as nice as the one in Riviera Maya, south of Cancun. We were lucky to have a...

A great vacation that began with a little trepidation. We spent Dec. 25, 2005-Jan 1, 2006 at the Mayan Palace/Grand Mayan in Acapulco. After missing a connection in Mexico City and wondering if we'd have a ride to the resort on arrival, we were extremely pleased and relieved to find cab driver Ismael Silva waiting for us at the curb...

A friend and I stayed at the Mayan Palace, Acapulco from Nov. 6 - Nov. 13, 2005. This truly is a lovely property with some stunning architecture particularly in the area of the main entrance and public areas surrounding the reception desk. We stayed in a Grand Mayan studio unit which is a more than ample, comfortable, modern, standard sized...

Acapulco is one of those destinations you read and hear about and dream of going some day. Well this month was my week and it meet all my expectation. Mayan Palace resorts are on a very beautiful beach outside of Acapulco and a short drive from the airport. It is a combination of time share, full time condos, golf course,...

Just returned from a week at the Grand Mayan in Acapulco. We had a one bedroom suite on the 10th floor oceanside and the view was unbelievable. The sunsets were spectacular. The suite were immaculate and the maid service (twice a day) impeccable. We purchased the breakfast coupons (the resort does not advertise them, one has to buy them at...

The resort is outstanding. People are friendly and helpful. The beach is endless and the crowd disperses along it, so that you feel to be alone on the ocean. We were upgraded to the Grand Mayan and had a great 2 bedroom apartment complete with kitchen, living room, 2 baths with Jacuzzi. A huge terrace was viewing the golf course...

This is our fourth time coming to Mayan Palace Acapulco. As with all other years, the views, grounds and service are wonderful. We had some minor difficulties upon arriving which is not unusual. There is demolition taking place of the back two buildings but more has been added to the Grand Mayan. In my opinion these things are easy to...
