This was our 2nd year staying at Marina Park Plaza for 5 weeks. We always rent directly through the hotel as we like the services ie 2X week maid service, 20 litre water jugs delivered to our room 2x week , 2 kg free laundry per week and the help and services of the fabulous front desk staff from Gabby the assistant manager to Elviria and Anthony who were all more then willing to book reservations to making any calls we needed or looking up information and of course the general manager Ricardo who is always smiling and willing to help make our stay as great as possible and the security always visible and on site 24 hrs at the hotel and will help with groceries etc to your room. I tell my friends this place is like a hotel (front desk, security, swim up bar and pool, maid service)condo ( two bedroom two bathroom large kitchen with everything you need to cook and extra large balcony to enjoy in the evenings. I found the master bedroom bed a bit too firm for my liking but the two double beds in the second bedroom were softer. I think one of the best things about this hotel is the "location" close to walk to restaurants, super che big grocery store, beaches and town and cabs are dirt cheap like 30 pesos that's about $2.00 Canadian. I would say 95% of the owners or people staying there are Canadian's. This place is the safest i have felt when staying in mexico.

This is without a doubt the best place and the best value in Huatulco. The rooms are actually new well equipped condos with room for an entire family. Eat out at a local restaurant or make dinner in the very nice kitchens. I'll just list the rest:
Very nice kitchens.
New.
Pool with swim up bar.
Extremely helpful staff.
Quiet. (without the nightly noise of downtown).
Location: Easy access to everywhere. 30 Minutes to fishing at a remote beach. 5 minutes to downtown. Perfect.
Good Wifi.
Marina across the road.
I'm not sure what else you could want.

Stay here. Then write me a comment to thank me. Seriously.

Marina Park Plaza is a Hacienda style Condo Hotel with 57 luxury Condos. It opened in December 2010. The Marina Park Plaza is a great place to spend your winter vacation. From 1 week to 1, 2, 3, 4 months, etc.

Your apartment is a fully furnished luxury condo complete with a kitchen with everything from toaster to forks, dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge, living room, cable TV and WIFI internet, dining area, a wet bar, 2 full bathrooms, 1 large bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with 2 queen size beds. The apartment has air conditioning and also ceiling fans (if you prefer having no air conditioning). You also have a large private balcony with a nice view. The courtyard has a wonderful swim up bar and you can also have a wonderful massage.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks there and I wish we would have booked it for a month. The Hotel is extremely clean and smoke-free. Lots of security. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Jeremy at the reception was very helpful throughout our stay. He arranged all of our tours such as visiting a coffee plantation, hiking and swimming at a waterfall, taking a city tour and also going on a catamaran and visiting the many bays of Huatulco. I felt extremely safe in Huatulco, it is a very clean and friendly area. There are a few beaches that you can walk to.

There was a Super Che store about an 8 minute walk from the hotel. You can find anything you need at this store, it is like going to a Metro, Loblaws, Sobeys, it has eveything from clothes to food, vegetables, fruits, wine, beer, fresh baked goods, fresh fish and fresh meat, electronics, etc......

For 25 pesos (approx. $2.50 Cdn) you can get 5 gallon of water delivered to your room, just ask at the front desk. We also bought a small bottle of microdyne and the Super Che and you can use the water from the tap and add a bit of microdyne to wash your vegetables and fruits.

There is also a restaurant on site, which was very good. This hotel is very well situated, it is close to shopping, many restaurants and there is a beautiful park just beside the hotel.

We found the prices very reasonable. I would recommend this condo hotel to any of my friends and family, it is worth ever penny.

Sunwing/SignatureVacation offers weekly charter flights direct from Canada to Huatulco from early November until late April. The hotel is about a 20 minute ride from the airport. The climate is on average 326 sunny days and only 40 days with rain per year, so you don´t have to be concerned about bad weather.

Location is ok, there's a great little bar underneath that has on of the best steaks I have ever had in Mexico. The suit itself was big but watch out for the electric bill it was way more than we were lead to believe it should have been. The pool is nice and the swim up bar, they let you run a tab and pay later. I would stay again but.

We rented a condo at Marina Park Plaza for a month. Our understanding was that our space would be peaceful and liveable. The issue is some condo owners want to rent their condo, vs condo owners don't.want renters. The owners that were next door and their friends were rude and loud.. If youj rent there be sure you stand up for your rights as a renter. There are no restrictions on noise and partying until 11:00PM in the common area which could be in front of your rented condo. Also I guess they can make a lot of noise inside our neighbors did until after 1:00AM.
Would not rent there again because you do not know what kind of neighbors you would have.

This was our first time staying in a Condo Hotel and we loved it. This property is Beautiful and well maintained in a perfect location. Marina Chahue is right in front of the property. The room has everything you need, the units have two rooms with 3 beds and 2 baths. The kitchen is well equipped and a lot of space. We spend 4 days at this property and we will return in a heartbeat. Jeffrey at the front desk is always there to help. The pool is gorgeous and super clean. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed February 5-25, 2011 at the Marina Park Plaza. Overall, our stay was fine... the rooms were beautiful and well laid out. Beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was outfitted well. Since they just opened Dec 1, we had daily issues that needed to be looked at by maintenance... water leaks, air conditioning not working, etc. The issues were addressed promptly every time.
We had a few things that we didn't agree with regarding their condo rules:
• You have to wear a wrist band so security knows you're allowed on the premises (like an AI hotel).
• You cannot take food or drink from your room down to the pool area, and must purchase drinks at $3/each for beer from the swim-up bar or food from Senor Puck's. You can charge it to your room.
• You have to give them 2 hours notice if you are having visitors, and they have to be gone by 8pm.
• They locked the air conditioner remote so that you cannot make it go lower than 23C, but you also cannot make the fan speed up to cool the room down faster. Since you have to remove your room key when not in the room, it turns off the condo's power so often it took a very long time to cool down a room.
There aren't any laundry facilities or BBQs in the condo complex. If you are staying for any length of time, laundry would be handy but instead you have to send it out. They don't have any extendable lines on the patio to dry swimsuits, etc. either.
The pool was very nice, but the way it is situated, there isn't much for a breeze and most days we could only stay in the sun for 10-15 minutes before jumping into the pool because we were cooking. There are a few loungers that have a red mattress on them and are adjustable so you can lay down or sit up to read, but the majority of them aren't adjustable, so not too comfortable for relaxing in the sun and reading.
I think they still need a lot of help in the way of getting their staff up to speed on procedures, but the front desk was very helpful and accommodating with us. We ate at Senor Puck's a few times, but weren't impressed with any of the food. It was convenient if you needed a quick bite and didn't want to go anywhere but the food left a lot to be desired.
Their wi-fi worked quite well the first week we were there, but after that it was sporadic, and often you had to go outside the condo to get logged on or it was down.
The location is great as it's a short walk to either Santa Cruz or La Crucecita and Super Che is a close if you need anything. We enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't stay there again, mainly because of the rules and it was set up too much like a hotel.

We visited Huatulco for last 2 weeks in March this year and were lucky enough to spend it at beautiful Marina Park Plaza. We had spent one week there last winter and were looking forward to 2 weeks. Located on the Marina at Chahue Bay, a short walk to a large but quiet beach, plenty of restaurants and shopping. We enjoy the nicely decorated and appointed suites which allow for cooking and dining in. The bedrooms are spacious and each bedroom has a full bathroom. There is a very large deck, in our case looking out over Chahue Bay. The pool area is very attractive with a large salt water pool which is always crystal clear and at a perfect temperature. MPP offers a swim up bar where the friendly and professional bartenders will make you the cocktail of your choice which can be tabbed to your suite and settled at a later date. This year Luis and Laura were excellent in hosting my family as we soaked up the 14 perfect days in Huatulco. Great location, great staff, and clean, safe relaxing accommodations. We are already planning for visits in 2017. Paradise!!
