Yes, it is predictably a solid middle-of-the-road hotel chain, which is what we wanted, good for us and our family including young grand-daughter. Rooms were clean, concierge service perfect, restaurant good, few minute walk to the beach, and pool sufficient though not huge. Only issue was that the room lighting was a little too dim to our liking, but opening the drapes resolves the issue. I would gladly return to there again, after having been to a different Huatulco hotel many prior times over the past two decades. Very child friendly!

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn now in three different Mexican cities/towns. I enjoyed my stay at the Santa Cruz Holiday Inn at the marina, I thought the location was idea for a first timer to Huatulco. From the front desk staff to the concierge to housekeeping, all were very friendly and helpful.
My room was fantastic and I had a small balcony facing the courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the shower was decent. When I rate a hotel, it is based on four conditions, noise levels, bed comfort, shower features and cleanliness. The Santa Cruz Holiday Inn hit all areas, although, the loud closing room doors need to be equipped with soft close.
One thing that cannot be controlled is other guests, and the crying baby next door to me was a struggle to get through if not for my ear plugs, as the first night, being awoken to a crying baby for half a day is not relaxing. I had breakfast twice at the Jaguar restaurant in the Holiday Inn, both times was a good experience.

This Hotel is absolutely the cleanest spotless hotel that we have ever had the pleasure of staying at! It's in a great location and the staff is excellent. I would highly recommend that the hotel include a refrigerator in all rooms as it must cost more to make ice for styro foam coolers in the rooms . Breakfasts we also great.

We arrived at the hotel a little tired from San José del Pacifico, I had booked 4 nights through both Bestday and Despegar, since they were 2 rooms for 6 people and we bought them separately, I had spoken to the hotel a day before to inform them that we would not arrive on the day indicated, if not until the next day, for which they told me that there was no problem, that the reservations were respected. I want to thank the hotel for always looking for a way to support us in everything to have a pleasant stay.
About the hotel I want to say that it is beautiful, we chose it because we were really going to waste the all-inclusive, since we would take a tour to the bays and Mazunte and Zipolite, so it was perfect for us, even more so that they included breakfast, which They are really worth it, apart from dishes that change every day, there are eggs to order, quesadillas, omelets, hot cakes, etc. The hotel is a few steps from the Marina and Playa Santa Cruz, as well as one block from the craft market. Inside the hotel there is a Starbucks or coffee shop that serves coffee from there, it has a small pool but nice and clean. The rooms are very good, clean and comfortable, everything you need for a stay in Huatulco.
If we had a big inconvenience upon arrival, it was forgotten since the rest of our stay at the hotel was very pleasant, all the staff have a very good service attitude.

We were originally booked at the Skippers Canadian Club next door (via AirBNB) and were thoroughly disappointed with the state of the hotel. Rooms were NOT as AirBNB described and the host Mario was difficult to deal with so we checked out promptly. Lucky for us the Holiday Inn was right next door and we checked in for a five night stay.
The hotel rooms were cleaned each morning by super friendly staff (leaving us pillow art every day). We opted for the breakfast package and enjoyed fresh fruit, omelets, buffet, yogurt and grains each morning poolside.
The view of the marina is beautiful while you laz around the pool enjoying Pina coladas. 🇲🇽☀️🍹
We enjoyed everything about our stay with the Holiday Inn, the great staff, comfortable room and enjoyable meals. A treasure to find after a horrible beginning to our honeymoon with the first hotel location.

We just returned from two weeks at the Holiday Inn Huatulco where we purchased accommodation and breakfast only; and enjoyed dinners at multiple Huatulco restaurants -- very happy with our decision. Pros: friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfasts; washer and dryer for guest use; good access to restaurants and beaches and bus service; safe area day and night; rooms have tile floors; air conditioning works well; rooms don't have a musty or moldy smell (unlike some hotels next to the ocean); hotel has an elevator and accessible rooms for folks with mobility issues. Cons: small pool with only 12 lawn beds; TV channels have no Canadian and little English content; small selection of foods on dinner buffet; no fridges in guest rooms; service in restaurant is inconsistent (lack of training); entertainment provided on Sunday only. This is not a resort hotel with programs and activities for children or adults so if you want the resort experience book elsewhere. Most guests we met were Canadians in the 40+ age group. Overall we were happy with the hotel and staff; however we're really glad we didn't book the all inclusive meal package. We ate only one dinner at the hotel (a la carte menu) and 2 of the 3 at our table were happy with the food. When booking we requested a room in a quiet location but were given a room facing the main thoroughfare, a noisy street. If you are a light sleeper I recommend booking a room that doesn't face the street.

The location of the hotel is the best part. The hotel is completely soundproofed and the cleanliness in the rooms is mediocre. If you're lucky, the food from the kitchen even comes to your room on the 3rd floor. Only Spanish is spoken well. The food is generally spicy Mexican-American. I don't think anyone should ever train with the hotel staff. Have a good holiday !!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn, Huatulco. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there was lots of variety. The fresh fruit and fresh juices were amazing. Best of all was the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant to the concierge and cleaning crew. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Very special thanks to. Anahi, Saul, Ponciano, Anheli and so many more that I didn’t catch names of. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s very centrally located, close to the beach and walking distance to many delicious restaurants and little taco stands. The pool area is surrounded by live walls of flowers and plants overlooking the marina. I would definitely stay there again!!!

We stayed here for the first three weeks of August and had a very nice time. The hotel is very clean and our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, it was very reassuring to see staff in the hotel keeping everything so hygienic. Our room was on the third floor and had a beautiful view of the harbor and all the boats bobbing on the water. It was lovely to sit in the evening on the balcony and watch the sun go down. The restaurant and the staff were all excellent, we ate at other places around the hotel but our favorite place to eat was actually in the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff very kind and helpful. The pool was very relaxing and also very clean. We had a wonderful time here and would love to go back again.

Very clean, comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is small but definitely enough to start the day with the omelette station. The location is just perfect with great places to walk in every direction and so many beautiful beaches close by. Decks are small with only enough room for 1 chair and lighting is not great in the rooms but other than that no complaints! This is a great place to stay
