This morning I and my friends who were staying at RIU were scheduled to go on a whale watching trip with a very well known reputable company called Onca. They sent a Red Truck (taxi) to pick us all up. They picked me up at my place and then to El Cid lobby to pick up 3 more clients and...

Just got back from vacation at the Riu - here's the details as we saw them: Location: The Riu is located north of Mazatlan, there really isn't much around it (a seafood restaurant in walking distance if you like, we didn't try it, we were happy enough with the hotel food). If you take a cab into the Golden Zone,...

Just spent a week with 16 friends and we had a wonderful time. Check in was fast and our rooms were all ready when we arrived. All rooms had an amazing ocean views. We were on the 17th floor. Never had to wait to long for the elevators like some of the reviews have said. The pools were very nice....

Room was very clean, modern and quite spacious. Staff were great. Bar tender Pueblo was awesome. Food was good. Beautiful place. We have been to many country's and Resorts. This is one of the best. The only bad thing I could say about the place is they pack the hotel with locals on the weekends. That made for long lineups...

The hotel was very nice, food was good & somewhat of a variety, however there is nothing around it. The only store was an OXXO (7-Eleven). Very dry & dusty with no grass ,no shops, nothing of interest unless you choose to lay in the sun & drink all day.The hotel also doesn't take American money or exchange it so for a 2.00...

Great place for food and drink and ocean front experience with lots of amenities. Being a big resort do not expect the quiet laid back personal and peaceful vacation you would get in a smaller resort. The biggest complaint we saw was the long waits for an elevator, when we were there in April 2016 they were adding 2 banks...
