stone island is my kind of bliss...safe and relaxing...sheltered bay for easy swimming. ten beach restaurants and a few hotels. Maria Coral gave us a corner beachfront room with the gentle ocean waves easy to hear. the bed was comfy. there was no hot water but i was a hot sweaty tourist feeling so good in a cool shower that... I recently spent a relaxing weekend at the Maria Coral Hotel on the beach in Isla de la Piedra. The beach is fabulous and was never crowded. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. I was on the top corner with an unobstructed view of the ocean, which all of the top floor rooms have. It had an awesome jet... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in the main level suite from October 12th-15th. Considering the amazing reviews, we were very excited to enjoy the hotel's great beachfront location and amenities, however, we found that we were not amazed ourselves throughout our trip. The hotel itself is nice and staff seemed friendly enough, but not... More

It's a great place to stay, the rooms are nicely decorated and with all amenities. The staff are friendly and there is a restaurant at the hotel. The easiest and nicest way to reach the hotel is by water taxi, it takes 10 minutes and costs 15 pesos per person to get to Stone Island (including luggage) From the disembarking... More

Spend lazy days on the beach in front of the hotel or avail yourselves of the only swimming pool on the island and try one of their... More

Maria Coral is a quaint hotel with amazing views from the ocean to the beautiful sunsets. The price was so affordable for such luxury and the staff and service we received was beyond a 5 star rating. The food we had was just wonderful and the price was just as perfect as the entrees we had; chefs Pancho and Joel... More

Maria Coral is a very nice little hotel on stone island next to the city of Mazatlan. The food is great and service excellent. There are only 20 rooms in this 3 story hotel so even when it is full you don't have crowds. Being located on stone island it is very low key. If you want nightlife you can... More

Maria Coral is a pleasant clean place with friendly staff. Our room #378 looked out over the Pacific Ocean. Restaurant downstairs has real brewed coffee, not instant like the other beach restaurants. Our only mild complaint is the water temperature in the shower fluctuated constantly. However, the killer view from our room certainly made up for that small inconvenience. We... More

The hotel is directly on the beach and the ocean is great. The rooms have ocean view. The service in the hotel is really great and the staff is helpful and nice. The restaurant in the hotel "Los Delfines" is really good (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there). The beach is clean and you can walk kilometers, if you... More
