Glad we chose to stay at this hotel in December 2014 (TA only goes back a year). It's in the heart of old PV and most everything is just a quick walk away, which is a huge plus. What particularly stood out to me about this hotel was the art that was everywhere - bold, wonderful color. Just loved it!... More

The hotel is close to the bars and restaurants and walking distance to the beach. The room itself is clean but very small, no closet to put your clothes and the TV is so close to the ceiling and the bed is very stiff. It is very noisy being right by a busy street so you'll hear all the cars... More

Great location. You can walk to the Malecon. It is next to Rio Cuale. In the heart of the Barrio de Tango. If dancing is your thing, this is a great, inexpensive place to stay. Nice cafes nearby and inexpensive shopping district, too. This is a neighborhood with many Canadian & US expats.

We didn't stay here. This was our first assigned refuge from Hurricane Patricia and was ultimately deemed unsafe so we had to move on (so don't book this hotel to avoid hurricanes). It does need to be said that the hotel manager was magnificent in a crisis. She was coordinating her own guests as well as those of us sent... More

Cute little boutique hotel in the Romantic Zone - full of original art, and about 3 or 4 blocks from Playa Los Muertos (beach). We were there in July, so we paid (a little) extra for a room with A/C. The front desk staff are all VERY nice and helpful. We had a cute little room on the 3rd floor... More

I stayed at the Belmar for a month from Feb-March 2015. It was a great choice! It is located in Zona Romantica on a busy street between the big Guadalajara Pharmacy and Rio Cuale, a 10 minute walk to the beach or malecon (Boardwalk along the bay) and a few blocks to the Central area. Lots of great restaurants, bars... More

We stayed here one night. The room was quite small but Clean. The balconey was very nice! The views were nice as well. The bed isn't too comfortable but for a night is fine. You can hear a lot of street noise and I slept fine thru it. The bathroom is tiny but it was okay and clean.

The best view is at the top floor, of course there is a climbing, but it totally worth it. Thank you so much for writing this review. We are always trying to improve in everything we can. We hope you give us the oportunity to serve you again. Sincerely More

The staff was incredibly helpful - we lost our Mexican cell phone and they helped to facilitate getting it retuned to the hotel and ultimately to us. Above and beyond. As well, when our original room was too noisy they accommodated our request to move to a quieter room as soon as a room was available. The decor was great.... More
