It seems that since this hotel is in a prime location, customer service isn't a priority. I had to ask the front desk for a clean towel after having been given one w dirt stains. I requested extra bed sheets a few times but never received them. They even took the sheet from the extra bed! The man that works...

My wife and I made the mistake of waiting until the last minute to book rooms during the December/Xmas high season and were forced to make some tough decisions to stay within our budget of <$100 USD per night. Of the 3 places we booked (Hotel Eloisa, Portnovo, Hotel Encino) this was the least favored. The hotel has great balcony...

The location can't be beat in the heart of old Puerto Vallarta. You can walk everywhere, the malecon is steps away. Great restaurants are very close by. Started the mornings with the coffee shop next door and bought a couple of books for some poolside & beach reading. The zumba in the park didn't bother me, as I'm an early...

We booked this hotel last minute while we were in PV due to disliking the hotel we originally booked. A suite was only $67 dollars a night and worth so much more! It was the size of a small apartment and has been taken care of. The pool and the view on the rooftop was fantastic and one of my...

If you are the kind of person that appreciates patio doors that don't lock, air conditioning that does not work, internet that works very occasionally, noisy fans whose speed cannot be controlled, then this might be the place for you. There are other features that are either average or good but no AC and no internet were deal breakers for...

I realize that when you go to Mexico their standards are not quite the same as Canada, having said that, we did not get the room we booked several months ago. We finally convinced the desk clerk to give us the room we had booked. The next day we moved to our room and toaster was broken, then the air...

This place was not the fanciest hotel in Mexico, but it sure was good enough!!! KED & I really enjoyed the fact that it was less than a block from the beach and boardwalk which gave us easy access to everything....markets, restaurants, shops, jet skis, parasailing, souvenirs, pretty much everything!! I want to give a huge thanks to RAMON who...

The hotel is located in the "Romantic Zone" in Old Vallarta. It's only a 1 minute walk to the beach. The building itself is rustic and quaint. There's an outdoor pool on the first level that gets sun between noon and 3pm. There's another pool on the roof for the sunbathers. I was lucky enough to have a room that...

right from the start, we knew it was going to be a long day. Rooms that had no air condition were horrible. The smelled musky and were quite dark. Front desk "upgraded" us, but not before wanting more money. Only good about this hotel was they offered continental breakfast on the roof for the guests, which saved us some money...

This was our fifth time in PVR but our first time staying in a hotel, we usually rent a house, and what a great time we had. We arrived on Friday the 13th, March 2015 and were met by Dora, who is charming. We stayed in a suite facing the centre of the building and it was clean, comfortable and...
