This hotel is not an american type resort and doesn't pretend to be one. It is an older family run hotel that was built in 1948. It has the charm of a Mexican hotel and even if the furniture and the decor is old style, the place is clean and spotless. It is a great value for the price. Its...

This hotel does not claim to a five star establishment, and it is isn't. However, it is located on the Malecon, provides clean rooms, fresh free breakfast, and a friendly service at a very reasonable price. So, its a great place to stay if you would rather be in the city and within walking distance from the excitement of Puerto...

I have stayed at the Hotel Rosita many, many times over 15 years. I love the place! It's older, but well kept and super convenient and friendly. I stayed there a couple nights ago and I guess left in a hurry. I hired a taxi across the street to go where I was going and about 5 minutes into the...

Stayed there Aug 11 to 18. Gr8 ocean view; Free breakfast truly awful; Rooms old, but clean-ish, brand new fridge; Gr8 central location; Not fancy but excellent value for $$$$ and on the Malecon; Front desk staff very helpful; Will stay there again in the future

I was not amazed by this hotel. It was comfortable and in front of the ocean. Good views from the balcony but although it is in front of the ocean, there is no beach... just rocks. The location is pretty good. It is located at the end of the Malecon so you have to walk quite a bit to get...

Over the years have stayed at the Hotel Rosita many times, and have always enjoyed the experience. Super location, seaside rooms are the best, and central to the unique village of Puerto Vallarta. True many changes over the years and more now of a bustling resort community than the quiet fishing village when I first went over 50 years ago....

This one is great! It is owned by a mexican family since 3 generations. It is beautiful, Rooms are perfect, the look of the hotel is beautiful. The pool, and the direct access to the sea make it wonderful. Plus, it is right next to the municipal beach, where there is less people selling souvenirs to tourists. We loved it!

On our first trip to Puerta Vallarta, we decided to stay at Rosita based on reviews here. It gets three stars because it has a great location and a lot of potential to restore its former glory. The hotel does not have it's own parking. Since we had a rental car, this was a point of stress for us. When...

Ok dirty cheap place if you wish to stay close to downtown. Really tough beds, but we enjoyed to ocean front balcony. Funky deco bathrooms. Breakfast was nothing but beans, potatoes and meat so we skipped this.

Hotel Rosita is lovely. The architecture is neat and it's got great character. The front desk folks were always helpful, though some had better English than others. The hallways and common areas were decorated nicely, beautiful tables with comfy leather & wood chairs. DINING Breakfast is free with your room, but it's a Mexican breakfast, which I didnt find it...
