Very personable staff, great location, especially en route to elsewhere. Bedrooms basic, restaurant on the beach and in a great location. Would recommend not arranging drivers ahead of time as local taxis interested in your business and will bargain for your transportation needs. Rooms on the street noisy, but Malecon all within walking distance. Warning to check out Bank machine...

stayed here last week for one night while waiting to check into a resort. the hotel is old, and a little worn, the room is smallish and very dark. the linen has seen a million washings. but on the plus side, if you get a sea view room, the view is great and the sound of the waves will rock...

This large hotel is located at the northern tip of the stunning malecon. The beach is directly in front of the hotel. The large pool with lounging chairs and umbrellas is very inviting. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and include AC. Some have private balconies overlooking the Pacific. A very limited breakfast is included, usually hotcakes but sometimes scrambled eggs. The...

I have been to PV 7 times and each time I have stayed at Hotel Rosita. I love the atmosphere, convenience of being right downtown, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I can not imagine staying anywhere else. I truly appreciate having the fresh bottled water available, access to wireless internet, and the excellent breakfast buffet. I keep coming...

The location is in fact ideal near the "malecón" and downtown Puerto Vallarta. But just the location isn't everything... They offer rooms with breakfast included, when it is in fact NOT included, unless you want to have just hot cakes and cofee. If you want to have anything else, you have to pay. They don't mention it will be just...

I came to Puerto Vallarta with two goals: to spend my days tanning by the ocean and my nights relaxing and reading books in my room. Unfortunately, my nights were far from relaxing. I stayed from Thursday-Saturday night and, as it turns out (though not advertised), every Thursday-Saturday night they have an awful musician play in the restaurant so loudly...

This hotel is not an american type resort and doesn't pretend to be one. It is an older family run hotel that was built in 1948. It has the charm of a Mexican hotel and even if the furniture and the decor is old style, the place is clean and spotless. It is a great value for the price. Its...

This hotel does not claim to a five star establishment, and it is isn't. However, it is located on the Malecon, provides clean rooms, fresh free breakfast, and a friendly service at a very reasonable price. So, its a great place to stay if you would rather be in the city and within walking distance from the excitement of Puerto...

I have stayed at the Hotel Rosita many, many times over 15 years. I love the place! It's older, but well kept and super convenient and friendly. I stayed there a couple nights ago and I guess left in a hurry. I hired a taxi across the street to go where I was going and about 5 minutes into the...
