My work takes me to all parts of the world. Most of the time I stay at 4-5 Star hotels. But when I go to Puerto Vallarta I stay at Casa Anita. It is the most charming hotel I've stayed at. First you have a panoramic view of the bay. The rooms are tastefully decorated in Mexican decor. It is...

I have been visiting PVR for many years, and I love being able to have the luxury of an equiped kitchen. . The view from the patios and decks of the Bay as well as the magnificent sunsets is an added benifit. It is very easy walking distance to town as well as the beach and makes for very interesting...

Initially I was placed in bachelor room - avoid those at all costs. The AC consisted of a fan that looked and sounded as though it could fly off the ceiling at any time. The folding doors to the patio had open slats, i.e., a welcome invitation to mosquitos and the excessive din from the highway below. Needless to say,...

Casa Anita was recommended by a friend who previously had an enjoyable stay. We were already in Puerto Vallarta and needed accommodations for our last week. Sonya was very accommodating and had room for us. As we had normally stayed on resort properties we found the "personal" touch great. We also loved the proximity to "Old Town" Puerto Vallarta and...

Casa Anita two weeks in March 2007. MOSQUITO problem exists here and is probably like that in most parts of Puerto Vallarta. But putting a screen on the patio door would solve this problem! I had to keep my patio door closed all the time and use Raid plug-in repellant to keep the mosquitoes away. With the ceiling fan and...

First, let me say that we really enjoyed staying out of the touristy resorts! Casa Anita is a great building with an incredible view of the Bay de Banderas and so close to the "Zona Romantica" and many fine restaurants. We stayed in A21 for the first 4 days - it's close to 200 stairs up to this 2 bedroom...

Stayed in room 21 at Casa Anita for 4 nights this March and had pretty mixed reactions to the place and our stay. We are used to staying at smaller hotels without five star amenities, so our reactions are not based on comparing apples to oranges, but rather apples to slightly dirtier apples. We really liked the hotels location and...

We're from central Connecticut and went to Casa Anita for the first time this past Jan/Feb after reading other reviews here on Trip Advisor. Other than the occassional party pooper who finds fault with everything they encounter, the reviews seemed postive, given that you understand C. Anita. We stayed in Unit 20 the 1st week then moved down (2 levels)...

We stayed in the Penthouse..lots of stairs to the room and the beach...great exercise. Maids did a good job. Intermittent wireless but DSL wire was availble under the palapa. Fair amount of road noise and the road is busy and alittle dangerous to get to the beach. Pools were icy!! They need to clean up the junk outside!! The views...
