This small hotel is clean and comfortable (basic but has all you need) It is right on the beach with a nice pool and patio. The food is excellent and a great value with wonderful staff. It is a short walk to the Malecon and all the downtown has to offer.

This little hotel may not be your typical 3 or 4 stars accomodation, but it clean, quiet, close to all the action in downtown and super affordable! Hotel El Pescador is locted just about a block from the famous Malecon, which is the main sidewalk in downtown where many of the popular nightclubs, restaurants and sight-seeing amenities are in Puerto...

My friend was staying here so we decided to try out the restaurant. If your not In a hurry eat here. The food is fantastic but they are seriously lacking in staff and the service was really slow and the waiter forgot stuff we ordered. Nothing against the staff, they are doing the best they can. But the hotel needs...

The hotel El Pescador is located on the beach just 3 blocks off the Northern end of the Malecon on a quiet street parallel to Avenida Mexico which has tons of stores and restaurants. The hotel has two towers. The Northern tower borders Calle Uruguay and is across the street from a bar that plays the same 3 rythms over...

We spent three weeks here and really enjoyed it. The rooms are dated and simple but they were clean. The housekeeper did an excellent job and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was having a refridgerator in the room as my wife has medication that needs to be kept cool, so we bought a...

If your not real picky about the accommodations this hotel is great. I had an ocean view room that was around $60/night. Room was dated but clean. Some rooms have been updated and have flat screen televisions (if thats important). My room had wifi. The only noise I heard at night was the ocean waves crashing into the beach every...

We booked this hotel based on a recommendation, I was disappointed. We booked about 5 days before arriving (wanted to check out PV on our way home from Los Ayala) I paid over $140 per night CAN and I was extremely disappointed. Had I paid the rates that others paid (aprox $55 a night) I would not feel so ripped...

I have stayed previously at the sister hotel Rosita which is very similar and close by . It was good value. El pescador has almost the same format but the staff are less experienced / professional.
