My husband and I have been coming to Casa Velas at least once a year, usually twice a year for the past seven years. We love the serenity, beautiful property, luxurious rooms , outstanding chef, beautiful spa and excellent value as an adults only all inclusive. That being said, the most important asset this property has is it’s staff. Everyone is so kind and helpful; starting with their excellent general manager who we have gotten to know over the years, and the fantastic concierge service. Everyone is so attentive from the valet to the wait staff. While it is not on the beach, the property is not far from the beach and they have a beautiful beach club with complimentary shuttle service. This is our home away from home. If you are looking for a romantic getaway with beautiful service and excellent food, this is for you. Muchas Gracias to everyone at Casa Velas. We are already planning our next visit.

Our family enjoyed a memorable 7 day experience at this all inclusive resort. It was the first time we stayed at an all inclusive resort and I am afraid that any future resort will have to step up their game to meet the high bar that this resort set. The staff took extra precautions at every turn to insure health and safety of guests during these pandemic times. We were able to schedule our required Covid-19 antigen test for returning to the states right there on site. The grounds were beautiful with well maintained pools, a developing botanical garden with identified species, lovely koi ponds with turtles, and a serene water lily pond straight out of a Monet painting. Very peaceful throughout our entire stay. Coming from the Pacific NW we loved the shade that the poolside cabanas offered during the afternoon heat. Each of the 3 restaurants provided us with a healthy variety of choices and a dining experience that was top notch. The staff at the restaurants were very accommodating and attentive. We were sorry to have to say good bye to them on our final day. The gym was well equiped and wiped down regularly. The housekeepers refreshed our units daily - extremely comfortable beds with comforters. My husband and son played golf, loosing a few balls to water hazards they stayed clear of due to crocodile sitings. The concierge service provided recommendations for scuba diving and helped with requests for another outing we took in the area. The nightly sunsets at the Tau restaurant were memorable. We will return.

I recently celebrated my wedding on April 3rd. We bought 30 guests with us, and we all stayed at Casa Velas for 3-4 days. Every guest mentioned that the customer service was 5 star, and every member of the staff were accommodating and amazing. The food and drink were outstanding for an all inclusive resort. We had our actual wedding at Tau Beach, which is affilliated with Casa Velas. The venue was stunning and the staff at Tau were amazing as well. Geraldine is the GM at Casa Velas and she was always available to answer any questions from me or my quests. Anna was our wedding coordinator, and she made our wedding the best event ever. Every single guest told me they would come back, and a couple of them, plan to have their wedding at Casa Velas after they saw how smooth it went. Simply the best experience I have ever had with a resort, and I do travel a lot domestically and internationally.

As director of Casa Velas, I have been fortunate to witness many moments that mark a new direction in the lives of so many of our cherished guests. But the one instance that always moves me the most is the joining of hands, and hearts, in loving matrimony. And allow me to say, Azam, that your ceremony was elegantly displayed and beautifully performed, all to the wonderful admiration of family and friends. On behalf of Anna, your wedding coordinator extraordinaire, and all of her dedicated colleagues, I thank you for selecting our boutique hotel as the setting for your milestone event and wish you and your charming wife all the best for a long and loving future. As always, we place ourselves at your faithful service, GERALDINE ZARAGOZA HOTEL MANAGER CASA VELAS

Very pleased to have spent 4 nights at this lovely resort. Although its all inclusive, it does not feel like a mass produced torist factory other all inclusive resorts feel like. It has a charm of a 5 start property, which is really is. The grounds are gorgeous and the landscaping is amazing. The rooms, albeit not the most modern, present a true luxury and very comfortable surroundings. The food and beverage service and quality is outstanding. We enjoyed both the Emiliano's restaurant and the Tau Beach Club. Both are fantastic for food and service, but we had a slight preference to the Tau Club atmosphere mostly because it was right by the water. If we did have one comment around potential gaps, its about the private plunge pools that some nicer suites have. The pools are quite shallow at around 2 - 2.5 feet depth and do not have heaters, so the water didnt get warm during our stay (admittedly, its February), and the pool depth didn't provide for a true pool experience, rather than more of a large jacuzzi that was lacking a heater. But thats nothing the property can do anything about without large capital investment. What really shined through are the people at this property. Truly welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, very polished hospitality professionals. Their GM Geraldine could not have been nicer and recommended a very good restaurant in town for our special occasion. Their Guest Relations Manager Nabila was very kind and provided terrific service and warm welcome throughout our stay. We think this is the best property in Puerto Vallarta immediate area if you are looking for excellent service and overall high end experience. We will be back.

As a team, we feel honored to have hosted lovely guests such as yourselves. During your four nights/five days, you were able to lavish in our unique style and brand of luxury, all of which was highly deserved after a year of vacation uncertainty. As always, it is our wish to stand apart from the typical all-inclusive offerings that many large resorts provide. We do this by incorporating personal touches into your experience as well as made-to-order, a la carte, dining. One great advantage of being an adults-only boutique resort is that it allows us to maintain an upscale and pristine ambiance, one where you may not even sense the passing of time. And for us, knowing that you consider Casa Velas as being "the best property in Puerto Vallarta" speaks volumes about our service, product, and value. Thank you, sir, for selecting Casa Velas as the setting for your winter vacation. Your kind words, along with your firm recommendation, will help other first-class travelers find their particular diamond in the rough just as you have. Until next time, we continue to place ourselves at your faithful service, GERALDINE ZARAGOZA HOTEL MANAGER CASA VELAS

We traveled to Puerto Vallarta and stayed at Casa Velas in early December amid the COVID-19 mess. Although we certainly had our concerns about traveling at this uncertain time they were all laid to rest once the car pulled through the front gates of the beautiful Casa Velas. First and foremost I want to convey that if you’ve entertained taking a vacation but are worried about your safety and surroundings during the virus outbreak this is absolutely the best place to be. The resort staff were all very conscientious about wearing masks, face shields, and sanitizing all common areas. And other guests were also respectful of mask wearing around others and social distancing. That said, the Casa Velas is a small, boutique resort to begin with and the occupancy was very low. With the exception of seeing one or two other groups at meal time (appropriately seating at a distance) we felt like we had the resort to ourselves. The personal attention is off the charts. We were greeted by name more often than not and always with a smile. Although each and every person we encountered was a pleasure there are certainly some stand outs. When we first arrived and settled in we took a stroll around the property. Benny was quick to greet us and offer a cocktail. One of the best dirty martinis I have had, by the way. From that first encounter he was a shining light every time we crossed paths. Always present with a warm salutation and an offer to get us anything we needed. And every morning for breakfast we were met with a wonderful welcome by Jesus. Both he and Oscar provided exceptional service and were always so upbeat and pleasant. Before our arrival we had anticipated having room service for breakfast but after spending a morning with Jesus and Oscar we looked forward to going to Emiliano’s so we could enjoy their company. Armando also went out of his way to make us feel special. Always with a smile (we could see it even though he was wearing a mask) and an offer to help any way he could. Last, but not least, the entire front office staff was quick to jump up any time we entered the lobby and provide assistance. Words just don’t seem enough to express our gratitude to all of those we shared time with during our stay at Casa Velas. Our hearts were very full when it was time to come home. Our room was comfortable and spacious and the property is stunningly beautiful. But it’s the people that left a last impression with us. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you Casa Velas for providing us with a beautiful experience. George (Jorge) and Joan
