Nicely decorated, and with lots of plants in the courtyard this is a cute and small hotel with very helpful and friendly staff and clean rooms. As other reviewers have noted, there can be some noise from the streets outside, but we did not find this a big issue and it didn't interfere with our sleep in any way. Super...

Jenifer and I returned from our third year in a row of having a March holiday at this gem of a small, comfortable hotel. It is ideally located for safely strolling the area, the wonderful seaside malecon, the nearby vibrant Old Town, loads of wonderful restaurants or for catching VERY frequent buses just a block away. The Hotel is even...

I stayed a week in March 2013. Enjoyed my stay very much. I noticed a couple of comments on the hot water situation. I found that before you step into the shower let the hot water run for about 5 minutes and you've got it. No big problem. It is close to the Malecon and all the best authentic Mexican...

Good news - the place is rather peaceful, has no night club attached etc. The only noise issues are with the traffic (get the room looking inside) and cathedral bells. Our rooms were moderately sized, let's say "functional". I rather dislike a sink in the shower arrangement, so you can't really use the sink after taking a shower. Oh, and...

We stayed 3 nights, great down town accommodation right in the heart of down town. Very clean and great staff. Low noise level, day and night. Free coffee every morning. Will definitely stay there again

We were disappointed in the room mostly. The bathroom had no hot water, and the cold water barely trickled out. We had to remove the shower head to get wet in the shower. The sink and only mirror was in the shower! (Not kidding). The safe did not work. Apparently none of the rooms in our portion of the building...

I stayed here last year. Stayed here this year, and will probably stay here next year. The beach is only two blocks away, the church is 3 blocks away, many restaurants steps away, the market, etc. The only thing I might add is more lighting(brighter). I would recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel for the location, close to everything. It was very clean and comfortable as well. We would recommend this hotel to others. Check out the rooftop patio, especially nice in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel Catedral is a beautiful hotel, less than a 5 minute walk from the beach, and right next to some of the main mercados in Puerto Vallarta. The staff at Catedral were part of what made our trip to Puerto Vallarta so special! Everyone is so helpful, and great with giving directions, restaurant suggestions, reservations, whatever you might need. During...
