My standard disclaimer: I am an older, overweight male from the upper midwest US qnd my tastes are simple - meat and potatoes, and lots of them. I have yet to meet a food portion I can't handle. I write Trip Advisor reviews strictly for people like me, so if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free, don't waste...

We visited Hacienda San Angel for a nice dinner with friends when we were in town for our wedding. It is a wonderful place to see and have a great dinner at. It has a lot of history too. The staff was very friendly and took their time with our small group. We even got to pet Pancho, the fluffy...

A beautiful place to have a lovely meal. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, the view was spectacular and the Mariachi band was the best I have ever heard and so classy and profssional. No disappointments. Ps The crème brulé is to die for.

This is the perfect oasis in the heart of old PV. It's as if you have stepped back in time to the colonial era - no traffic noise, surrounded by large fountains and religious art from the 1700 and 1800's. The hotel restaurant is excellent, with one of the best views in all of PV. Highly recommended.

Three couples celebrated a birthday here. We sat on the roof overlooking the city and bay. The red snapper dish was delicious. We were serenaded by the best mariachi band I have ever heard. The hacienda itself is charming.

A new favorite for us in Puerto Vallarta! Gorgeous city views stretching to the ocean. Diverse menu with multiple options for a seafood fan and a vegetarian. Long wine list. Reservations are required.

I made reservations months in advance for a special birthday. There were 14 of us and I asked for 2 tables close to the entertainment. We were placed in the remote back corner of the restaurant on a table for 14, resulting in very, very slow service. The food was delivered piece meal with the appetizers after the salads. The...

This place is around the corner of Casa Kimberley (Elizabeth Taylor's mansion), It's a way up the hill, but when arriving there you see the beauty of the mansion and the view is extraordinary. Really worth a visit. The food is especially delightful, though a bit costly, but worth trying at least once if not more often. The best part...

We wanted to tske our friends out for a special celebration dinner and chose Hacienda San Angel. It could not have been a better evening!!! The Hacienda is located up the hill from downtown PV. We took a taxi since the walk is steep and the streets are not in great shape BUT once we entered the front door, we...

Special birthday celebration, stunning tenors with live mariachis, Michelin style chef, service and ambiance. Any visit to Puerto Vallarta should include a dinner at Hacienda San Angel: book for sunset and the spectacular view, bay fireworks can be seen from the dining room. This is a special place...
