It's been at least ten years since we were in PV. In the past we had stayed there and had wonderful times. Now the top of the Casa is a lovely restaurant. We were staying with friend in Conchas Chinas, and decided to book a dinner there. The climb up to the top of the building can be a bit...

Yet another outstanding stay at Casa Isabel. We were fortunate to stay for the whole month of February in Suite 401 which has a magnificent view of the bay. It was also a great place to watch the fireworks each evening from both the Pirate ship and the hotels across the bay. The introduction of a self serve continental breakfast...

Once again we've returned for a quick get away. Perched above Hiway 200 as it heads south to Mismaloya, it's a convenient but steep stroll to Basilio Badilla and the heart of old town. Every suite (we've been in 3 different ones) is special. All have the feel of Old Mexico with an abundance of tile. Spectacular views of the...

If you are looking for that special dinner spot, look no further. Casa Isabel is a mixture of every desirable aspect of Puerto Vallarta. From their million dollar panoramic view of the bay, and surrounding areas. Their most accommodating and gracias staff make you feel as you are among good friends (you are). 5 star gourmet dining, very reasonable prices....

We had received a recommendation for this property from acquaintances and had researched it on T.A. We stayed for 9 nights and had to move after 7 nights. We were aware of this situation from the time of our reservation. Our first room # 301 was fine, not elegant, but large and fairly well equipped. The T.V. had no cable...

When we arrived, we were told good luck if the television worked in our room. Upon entering the room, I went back to ask for a change of rooms, because our room looked nothing like the room in Casa Isabel's website. I was told pictures can be deceiving! We were moved to a larger room a few days later. The...

The only reason we gave 2 stars was for the view, otherwise the visit / food was tragic. From the plastic dining chairs to the food which was not fresh. Wilted lettuce, old and funky tasting shrimp and uncaring staff. VERY weak performance and such great potential.

Last evening 3 of us went for dinner per reservation made through reception at our resort. Upon arriving by taxi we were informed no reservation had been made for us. You can only image our disappointment. However, true to Mexican hospitality we were seated at a table for 3 with a spectular view. The menu was limited to 3 main...

The beautiful view overlooks the town of Puerto Vallarta and the bay where we could see whales surfaces. We all enjoyed our dinner; the food was fabulous! The service was not great though. More than once we had to attract the attention of our waiter to get something and he was just standing around, not busy.

This was our first visit to Puerta Vallarta. We split up our 7 days to get the feel for the area by staying in the city at Casa Isabel for 4 nights and a resort on the beach near the airport for 3 nights. So glad we didn't stay at the beach resort the whole time as most travelers do....
