Villa Carolina is a dream property. Each suite is wonderfully decorated in authentic Mexican style. The architecture is phenomenal and the accommodations are very room. The suites are spotless. The pool is amazing and cleaned to perfection each morning and evening. The staff is warm and welcoming and there to help with anything you want. The food was outstanding. The...

This hotel was fabulous.... just perfect for a get-away with friends! The accomodations surpassed all of our expectations, and the staff was excellent! The views from around the hotel were gorgeous. The hotel was private and quiet, with the beach just a short walk away when we wanted a bit more action. There were taxi cabs parked right outside the...

Visited for four nights April 09 after a ten night stay at Las Brisas Ixtapa. After many trips to Las Brisas Ixtapa, this is the second time we have broken up our stay between Ixtapa and Zihua. Our first stay at Villa Carolina and it did not disappoint. Amazing architecture, beautiful property and lovely spacious accommodations. Impeccably clean and well...

My wife and I have been traveling to 3x's a year for 5 years staying at every beach destination in Mexico imaginable. Not any place we have stayed compared to the Villa Carolina! As soon as we walked in the Master Suite we were so happy to see it was not only as beautiful as the pictures online, but bigger...

This was our first visit to Zihuatanejo. Not only did we love the town, but our experience was made all the more memorable by our stay at Villa Carolina. Delightful, friendly, always helpful staff, beautiful pool, gorgeous grounds, peaceful, relaxing, a great garden suite with a patio where we enjoyed our own breakfasts and lunches daily thanks to our little...

OK, maybe perfect is overused. Let's call Villa Carolina "absolutely wonderful"! The hotel has 7 rooms including the huge suite on the upper floor. You would want at least 4 people to book that space. The master suites on the second level are still very large and include their own open air spa and have some ocen view. We stayed...

Villa Carolina is an absolute gem of a hotel nestled just a few hundred meters from Playa La Ropa beach in Zihuat. The hotel architecture is stunningly beautiful, and the attention to detail throughout the "villa" is a real testament to the craftsmanship of its architect. We had pretty high expectations for the hotel based on the reviews we'd read...

My husband and i stayed 4 nights at Villa Carolina in early November of 2008. I would highly recommend this time of year for a visit to Zihuatanejo. The rainy season has just ended, it is warm but not too warm, and the town in relatively empty. Villa Carolina is a beautiful property. The architect really knew what he was...

My girlfirend and I stayed there 05/24/08. We stayed there for about 4 days/3 nights. We were in the Grand Suite. It was a lot bigger than we expected. It even had its own kitchen, media room, and small pool. We had such a great time. The staff was amazing.....I recommend the guacamole (spicy) for room service and the margaritas....

“Garden villas are poolside, there are 4. They are semi-private. 2nd floor has 2 larger villas with outdoor patio with hammocks and small private pools. The third floor is one large unit with larger private pool, patio, larger kitchen and living areas. ”

“The garden suites are great if you plan on spending time at the pool since they're at pool level and don't require that you deal with a lot of steps. The grand suite is prime if you require a lot of space or have family & friends joining you….the master suites have limited views but afford privacy because each have a small soaking pool, large sitting area.”
