For the first part of our honeymoon, we arrived at Brisas at the top of a hill and entered the open-air lobby. Manuel promptly carried our luggage down the stairs to Chimalpa 107, our room, which was amazing. The room was sunwashed from the light coming in from the huge glass wall/sliding door to our balcony. There were hand-carved wood...

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was so amazing and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean and had loads of character. The pool was awesome, it was right on the beach, the property was maintained to perfection. There is really nothing I can say negative about this place. We will 100% be back here!! Thank you so much...

We went for a week over christmas break with our two kids (boys: age 8 and 9) and had a fabulous time. We booked a family suite, because that was all that was left. Normally we prefer a little more space, adjoining rooms or one bedroom with sitting area. But I have to say, the family suite worked out perfectly....

We spent a fabulous week at Brisas del Mar in early Oct. 2008 for our honeymoon. We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel that offered a chance for us to experience as much of the Mexican culture as we desired. Brisas was the spot. Located on Playa Madera it allowed us the opportunity to venture into el centro to...

Great hotel. The ocean view and private balcony has completely spoiled me. Falling asleep and waking to the sound of the ocean is something you can't put a price on. But speaking of price, even during the high season, I feel that we got a fabulous deal. We stayed in room #9, lobby level which I was concerned about but...

This was our third trip to Zihua and our first stay at Brisas del Mar. I doubt if we will stay at another hotel after Brisas. It's a close walk to town using city streets, or use the boardwalk along the ocean. Lots of local restaurants nearby - try La Perla Negro, Salvadors, or Casa Cafe for a great, inexpensive...

We made our decision to stay at this hotel based on what we read on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. There are stairs - LOTS of stairs...that is all of the negatives I can think of. We were looking for an experience that was not a resort tower full of americans. We had a room with a kitchette and...

We were in Zihua for a wedding in April and stayed here. We could not have picked a better place to stay for the price we paid!!! We LOVED the easy access to the beach, the pool with waterslide, the GREAT poolside service, and the clean & comfortable room. It was perfect, and i would DEFINITELY stay here again. Also....a...

We've been back about 1 week now and miss it terribly. Stayed for 6 nights at Brisas. We originally booked a JR Suite with a king sized bed, but tried to upgrade. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked (we wouldn't be able to tell that it was because it wasn't crowded!). They told us there were no JR Suites with king...

My husband and I were married at Hotel Brisas del Mar on November 14, 2008. We also enjoyed almost a full week of vacation there with our 88 guests before and after our event. We booked almost the entire hotel for our event (a couple rooms were previously taken). I don't even know where to begin to explain how wonderful...
