We just got back from a long weekend at Casa Don Francisco... and we couldn't be happier - this place is great and the service is superb!

A wonderful stay! Here is our story:
When we arrived to Casa Don, we were greeted like family. We stayed in the “El Dorado” suite and it was wonderful. The look of the city and mountains was breathtaking and the private pool was refreshing during...More

My husband and I learned about Hotel Casa Don Francisco on TripAdvisor. This property is nice, but certainly does not warrant 4 stars. Our suite was reasonable, but the bed was so hard we had to take anti-inflammatories to relieve aches and pains. The air-conditioner...More

How far away is La Ropa beach? How far to Las Gatas beach? Is it a difficult walk? Is there beach service? Is the location central to other restaurants and taxi service in Zihua? Thanks

Hi,, be clear that we stayed there several years ago but the beaches haven't moved. It is a very short walk to La Ropa beach and not difficult at all. There are several restaurants on the beach that if you are buying food and drinks will provide a chair and umbrella for the day. The hotel is very convenient for taxi service but as I recall for restaurants you needed to take a cab or a bus.
