Great place to stay while vacationing in Zihuatanejo. Mexican feel and colorful decor throughout, with good working A/C and friendly service. Enjoyed staying in a Mexican neighborhood where you can get a feel of what it is like to live in a Mexican town. If you are sensitive about hearing music that is played by local residents you may want... More

I went to Zihuatanejo for a five day minibreak. I was looking for something off the tourist track and I wasn't at all interested in the all-inclusive in Ixtapa. Communicating with the owner was easy. She was very friendly and accommodated a late check out as my flight was later. I had the small room at the top of the... More

Hotel Quinta Camelinas is a charming, small, family run hotel just 5 minutes from La Madera beach and ten minutes to La Ropa. It is spotlessly clean, the walls have lovely Mexican colours and it is well maintained. It is located in a residential area which gives it even more character. Natascha, owner, is so friendly and accommodating. We will... More

This is clean, small hotel with three rooms, two apartments and a penthouse. It's in a typical neighbourhood within walking distance of the the main hotel and restaurant zone. There is a shared kitchen for the three rooms to use. The small pool is clean, cool and welcome after walking around town in the heat and there are tables, chairs... More

This was our second visit to Quinta Camelinas. This time we spent two weeks in February 2015. It is a very clean, well maintained property. We can't say enough about how accommodating Natasha, the owner/manager, is to her guests. Old Mexico charm, convenient location close to town and a short walk to La Ropa beach. The three downstairs rooms share... More

We rented the penthouse for a month over the holidays. This spot was everything we wanted and more: Walking distance to town & beach, pool, kitchen (we had a culinary queen with us), authentic decor, space to entertain or find a quiet spot to read, nestled in a cool little neighborhood with a corner market, restaurants (real deal) & lots... I spent 6 night at Quinta and loved every minute of it. The price and location cannot be beat! Natascha the owner is friendly and easy to deal with and keeps a great property. I had the small room which was fine for a solo traveller. Loved coming back after hot days at the beach to jump into the pool.... More

This is an unusual review in that I didn't stay at the property -- but felt compelled to post anyway because of the exceptional hospitality and consideration I was shown by Natascha Raess, the proprietor, when I had to cancel. Six nights in Zihua was supposed to be part of a much longer trip around Mexico -- I was very... More

We spent 7 nights at Quinta Camelinas. It was the low season meaning that we were alone in the hotel. But it didn't bother us: it was like having our own villa for only 42 dollars per night. A bargain! We had the small room which is already of a decent size. The swimming pool and long chairs were appreciated,... More
