Some reviews state there was a space heater. Not in my room. I was cold at night. I was upset that G Adventures stayed there. The fireplace and fire were not good enough. Fire went out quickly both nights. I'm putting my name on the review-- not " a reviewer". Killed more than a dozen wasps in my room.

I loved the staff (very professional) and the quaint accomodations at Don Bruno. We were very comfortable and cozy with fire place, space heater and blankets/flannel sheets. The restaurant was a surprise, being the hotel is very remote. The mexican food was very well prepared, lots of variety. They did not miss a beat, accommodating a last minute birthday party,...

This area becomes alive thanks to the Monarch Butterflies Migration Patterns, which happpens between December-February every year. The rest of the year is pretty much not as interesting, and business is slow. So the hotels around here are cozy and cute, around 3 stars. I visited End of January to see the Butterflies, weather is extremely cold at nights, even...

As a previous reviewer had said it does get cold at night, and in the morning at this place. I was also part of a monarch butterfly tour group through Natural habitat tours (highly recommend them) and this place was one our resting area for two days. I believe most of the places have a fireplaces, and you can request...

This quaint hotel provides a terrific location for visiting El Rosario Sanctuary. The courtyard is lovely, the restaurant charming, the rooms very basic. We had a comfortable stay with very nice meals, but the bathroom was minimal. Based on the locale, the options would be limited and I must give high marks for the options provided based on the remote...

As part of my tour to see the Monarch Butterfly Colony at El Campo our group stayed at this cozy hotel for 3 nights. I read the TripAdvisor reviews prior to my visit which were mixed. I read that it can be quite cold at night and there was no heat in the rooms. I also read that if you...

this hotel has tons of potential but when we visited it, the staff was uninterested and not helpful, except for the bellboy, the room was extremely cold and no heat source available, the breakfast the next morning was far below average and the walls and floors very thin, so lots of noise.the bathroom is in a poor state of maintenance...

We stayed here with friends when we visited the amazing butterfly reserves. The hotel was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was good, there was definitely a smell of Lysol, but I took that to mean clean, which I appreciated. The food in the restaurant was also good, we visited on Super Bowl Sunday and were able...

Well, one star as it's both the minimum and it appears to be such a lovely place when one sees photos and when one arrives. We stayed here as part of a G Adventure group to visit the butterfly reserve. The owner, whoever that may be, clearly has the resources to make this a beautiful looking and attractive place to...
